Bad hamachi, smelled, left too much skin on nigiri. Bad spicy tuna, over salted. Blood line not removed from nigiri cuts of maguro and hamachi.

Amazing and delicious. All of the rolls were tried were so yummy and not overly saucy like most others. My favorite was the crispy rice with salmon. Love the texture. And the turtle roll was fun and different. Knocked one star off because we felt like we were rushed out of there after only being there an hour but overall this place is really great!

Despite having reservations for three at 8:30 pm, we experienced a 10-minute wait. Interestingly, three friends who walked in were promptly seated while we continued to wait for our table.

Best BYOB sushi in west town, located close to liquor store. They have endless selection of rolls from simple maki to signature rolls. The variety will blow your mind - no kidding! The staff is very friendly and food comes out quickly from the kitchen. We like to dine in here or order pick

One dish that truly stole the spotlight for me was the deep-fried Shumai. The perfect combination of crispy exterior and tender, flavorful filling left me craving for more. Each bite was a burst of exquisite flavors that danced on my palate, showcasing the culinary prowess of the chefs at Komorebi Sushi. One of the standout features of this restaurant is its BYOB policy, allowing diners to bring their favorite beverages to complement their meal. Whether you prefer a crisp sake or a refreshing bottle of wine, the staff at Komorebi Sushi are more than happy to accommodate your preferences, enhancing the overall dining experience.

We called the restaurant for walk-in availability because it was our last minute decision on busy Saturday night and the owner or the manager was so nice that she accommodate us in between reservations. It was really packed inside but the servers were so professional. They didnt miss any tables they serve and we didnt have to wait for them to notice us for anything.I wasnt sure what I want to eat so I went for “Chirashi” which was great choice since it has 6-7 different sashimi. My favorite was yellowtail and tuna even though salmon is my all time favorite!Definitely going back for other menus??

They were very accommodating as we were a bit late to our reservation. Our servers were attentive and very kind and the food was AMAZING! 10/10 experience, will definitely be back:)

It’s sushi made fancier for those times you want to impress a new girl friend. But as a regular sushi eater this is NOT my go to.I did like the super white with avocado maki the most and the miso soup.

Next level sashimi - this gives places like Sushi Dokku a run for their money - and I mean that - you won’t spend as much and get (almost) the same quality!Edit: Just came back - best value in Chicago - can’t stress it enough 10/10

Order both dine in and delivery and both occasions food took a while to come out. Had to wait 2 hours just for delivery for 3 rolls. Sushi was okay, but honestly tasted like ACYE from Sushi Taku. Youre better off ordering from Sushi Taku instead.
