As someone who has spent considerable time in Asia, I can attest that the soft serve at Kurimu is on par with the best you'll find abroad. It's not icy, with just the right amount of sweetness and a wonderfully smooth texture. The rotating monthly flavors are always something to look forward to, and their recent collaborations have been a highlight as well.I particularly enjoy visiting the Lincoln Park location, where the staff is consistently friendly and the store is impeccably clean. I'm thrilled that Kurimu has opened a location closer to the north side, and I can't wait to return, especially as the weather warms up.Overall, Kurimu is my go-to spot for soft serve in the city, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a taste of authentic, high-quality soft serve.

I stumbled across this place just walking down the street and the store was so cute and the staff was so helpful in explaining all the ice creams to me. I'll definitely be coming back again :)

Newest favorite ice cream spot. Both times I went in there was no line. Ice cream quality was perfect each

We've been here twice now. First time we got just the lychee ice cream. It was very OK, nothing special. Not worth the crazy $$ they charge. Second time we went, we got the Kurimu swirl. I attached a picture of the cone we got. Does that even remotely come close to the pictures they have of their cones? They literally advertise way more ice cream, more height, more swirls in their pictures and then give you like half that amount in person. Really dissapointed. Feels like just horrible value for your money.

Maybe I went at a bad time (Saturday night), but I was actually pretty disappointed in this new location! The actual flavor of the drinks were delicious, BUT there was barely any boba in mine and it took legitimately at least 10 minutes to make our two drinks (with no one else there)… I think the person working was very new and didn’t have much knowledge/training yet. This slow service, combined with the sterile atmosphere and lack of decor, made it a pretty disappointing experience, especially compared to the other locations! The one on Taylor street is so much cuter, busier, more fun, better decorated, better drinks (with enough boba), and faster service.I’ll give this another try to see if I just got unlucky, but even the decor and atmosphere were lacking! Hope they put some effort into making this location more appealing like the others, and training the staff well.Vegetarian options: It’s mostly drinks and ice cream, so very vegetarian friendly

Incredible ice cream…we both had the regular ice cream - one matcha with boba (was outstanding) and one smores with cookies and cream cone (also great)Fair prices and great experience…will be returning soon…happy they came to our neighborhood!

It's the weakest location compared to Taylor st, wicker park, and woodfield. There was a total of 6 of us waiting for our orders and it took almost 10 minutes for one of us to get our ice cream. We felt bad because one worker was completing all the orders while another was just standing around.

Recommend: I had ice cream and soft serve, overall I enjoyed but it was not extraordinary or anything. May stop again to try other flavours if pass by.

Im a big fan of Kurimu so was excited to try out the Lincoln Park location!I got a scoop of the blueberry cheesecake which was fantastic. The server was really nice and patient, as we tried quite a few flavors. This location was way less busy than the ones in Wicker Park and Little Italy, but has a lot more indoor space as well.I am not sure if Im a fan of the whole green apple theme they got going on.

Loved the soft serve swirl. The staff was awesome and we sampled a few of the hard scoop flavors as well, all really tasty.
