Everything about this place that used to be great…The tacos, burritos, the black salsa, etc. has gone downhill. That in combination with the ridiculous pricing (one taco was 7.25) is why I’ll never order from here again.

It had been a few years since I went to La Pasadita so I decided to make a stop in my latest visit to the city. I was taken aback by the prices. I settled on chicken burritos. The worst chicken burrito I ever had and for a very expensive price. I was not able to finish it. They are big and all but everything inside the burrito felt like a big mess put together. And it was cold probably because the sour cream. So I naively ask the attendant if they are running any specials after placing the order. And all I got was this funny chuckle from her like saying: are you crazy. Did not like that customer service interaction at all. I know things are crazily expensive but a lot of business run specials. All she had to say was no sir.

The place can be better i feel like. First the meat can be cooked a bit more than med and their sauce is kind of watery. Also the meat sometimes like zacatacos they don’t cut it very well and leave big chunks which are not appetizing.————- was just there 8/25 2023 and my the food is good but my gosh the prices are getting ridiculously high!????for just steak tacos. Dont know if ill be coming back unless these prices are lowered. They are tacos not burritos or tortas! Need to go back to the days were tacos were reasonably priced at about 1.50 or so. The tortillas are also made in the microwave which is just lazy to me. They would be a lot better if made like any other mexican place and if made in grease even tastier.

At La Pasadita, it's clear that the focus is on the food. Their five-star reputation is built on the back of their Carne Asada Burrito—a hefty, flavor-packed meal. Yes, I weighed my burrito for this review and it weighed in at an impressive 1 lb 2.5 oz.The steak is marinated and grilled to create a burrito filling that's both juicy and satisfying, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla with just the right amount of onions and cilantro for a fresh kick. The side of guacamole is as straightforward as it is delicious—ripe avocados, tomatoes, and onions. It’s the perfect accompaniment to their burrito or the chips, which are always served crispy and warm. The salsa verde brings its own punch of flavor, zesty and with just enough heat to liven up each bite.La Pasadita's atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a laid-back vibe that lets you relax and enjoy your meal. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring that your food arrives quickly and exactly as you like it.Despite the generous portions, the prices at La Pasadita are surprisingly reasonable, giving you more than your money's worth. The casual atmosphere and the no-nonsense service add to the charm of this local spot.In a city full of dining choices, La Pasadita stands out for doing the basics exceptionally well. It’s a place where you can expect a satisfying meal without any unnecessary fuss—just good, honest cooking that’s consistently delicious. Each visit to La Pasadita is a reminder that sometimes the simplest meals are also the most memorable. Whether it’s your first time eating here or your fiftieth, the food’s authenticity and quality shine through, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone in search of a great Mexican meal.

Super Recommended. It makes me curious because there are so many Negative comments and it has really been excellent for me. Sometimes people don't recognize the value of a kitchen. The price corresponds to the size.Thank you very much, the best tacos I have ever eaten.Recommended language cue

This place is charging $6.25 for a taco that's crazy I know inflation it's still around but the meat prices aren't that high for them to be selling a taco for that amount he's just being greedy last time I eat at this place
