This place was amazing! The staff was very kind and attentive. The food was delicious and filling. I had the salmon mondelli and my boyfriend had the pasta alla vodka, with grilled calamari as an appetizer. All of it was delicious!! For dessert we had the tiramisu with some coffee, a cappuccino and espresso, and it was all so good! We will definitely be coming back!!

We have been going here for years. Always accepted the fact the "reservations" are somewhat loose and you will likely be seated at least a half hour after your reservation you made weeks ago. Also accept it is super loud. Unacceptable is to be asked to leave your too small table for 4 (really a two-top) where you were bumped into continuously after two hours (45 mins past our reservation) and ordered after dinner drinks (including martinis) and yet still asked to leave. Spent close to $300 in two hours and when we asked the short man who is maybe the manager he simply said "you have been here too long". They had a line out the door which was clearly driving this yet there were tables whose $/person was clearly less than ours and yet they asked us to leave (we were on our way out anyway). After many years the (lack of) customer focus will mean this is likely the last time we come here. Many GREAT Italian restaurants in the area. Dont waste your time.

Showed up 25 minutes before they close, ask for something to go and they said no and I live right upstairs.Honestly you guys have roaches I know this because I live on top of you and I have to deal with your smell and your roaches all the time your smell is great but your roaches are horrible and it's because of you guys

Very accommodating, and the food was phenomenal. The owner I believe was seating people and he helped calm my daughter down when she was being fussy. He was very kind and funny.

Delicious Italian food!It is a well know place so I guess it is booked most of the time.However, the portions are big and unfortunately I did not have a feeling that I can be enjoying them in piece, because I felt a little bit rushed by the stuff.That is the only reason why I’m giving4 stars.Overall, It was a great experience.
As a first time visitor with someone that's been multiple times, I already knew the food would be delicious, the decor to be very old school Italian family owned with pictures of celebrities along the walls, and that it would be busy especially on a Saturday night.Our table wasn't quite ready when we arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and we were sent to the bar nextdoor to have a drink while we waited which was a great alternative to waiting out in the cold or going back to the car. Once we came back we were promptly seated in front of the kitchen but then moved to a slightly quieter table in the next room.Starting with grilled calamari and antipasto was perfectly light despite the portions being generous. Our wine was brought out right before our appetizers arrived which was perfect. Both of us requested to alter the sauce for our veal and salmon dishes and were accommodated without hesitation. We finished up with a cannoli that was picture perfect and freshly made followed by a limoncello shot to wrap it all up nicely.Our entire night at La Scarola was ideal. I'm doubtful there's another place just as well rounded. Everything is authentic and I can't wait to return!

Celebrating a birthday. Loud, fun, delicious. Everything you’d want for a family celebration.Food was excellent. Portions huge! We all took home leftovers. Service was excellent. Prices extremely reasonable.
A Sunday evening.. my first time here.. Brandon as our waiter.. and wow. Very happy and impressed by this restaurant.Brandon.. very attentive, kind, welcoming and patient. We couldn’t have asked for a better waiter.The food.. great quality, very rich in flavor. We had some left over for the next day and.. still as fresh.The atmosphere.. very “homey” and welcoming. Everyone seems to work together with joy.Bathroom is very clean. Will definitely be back!(Penne Alla Vodka and Eggplant was GREAT, Octopus - not the best- will try something else next time)

Absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated at this place yesterday! I called 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE to make reservation for a birthday and the day finally came and they said they did not have my reservation in their books! When I explained to them the situation, the OWNER of the restaurant caught an attitude with me and everyone in my party and would not accommodate us. The OWNER disrespected us all in front of everyone that was waiting! He didn’t even look down on the NOTE PAD for our reservation . My family will NEVER come here again! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Also to the RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER! Get a better reservation system! UNBELIEVABLE.
