Probably the best airport kiosk sandwich I've had in recent memory. Prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil pesto, on a crunchy ciabatta. I recommend having it warm instead of cold. You can probably find less expensive sandwiches at other places on Concourse H, but I don't think you'll find anything better.

In search of real food, I was happy to sit down with a caprese and a glass of wine. The service was phenomenal and the bar top was lovely enough to converse and discuss Europe and travels. I'll definitely return next time I'm in this area!

the panzerotti was so small for the price ($12). it tasted like mashed tofu and unlike any of the listed ingredients. the staff did reheat it really quickly though.

Review is based on the service received. The short Spanish girl should be fired immediately. Read some of the reviews and most people have the same complaints with the same girl. I asked for the gloves to be changed due to a meat allergy and she was so rude. Then started bad mouthing me in Spanish not knowing I understood everything she said. Her name was Josie I believe.

the guy serving/ prepping the food was sick- sneezing all over the food blowing nose and not changing gloves. Just plain disgusting

BEWARE! I stopped in to the LaTapenade kiosk for a couple bottles of water at terminal 2 gate E9. The woman working the register had no front teeth. She asked do you have a chip. Said yes and she proceeded to reach around and press the $2 option herself on MY screen pad as I tapped it, the highest option. She had it DOWN- the timing. I called her out. "Did you just give yourself a $2 tip?". She said she asked if I wanted to leave a tip and that I said yes. I thought she said "chip". She had no front teeth so it came out as "chip". It doesn't matter because even if I HAD understood and said yes, it's MY choice how much to leave (I would have said no- why tip an unnecessary cashier?) I sat across the concourse afterwards and watched her do it over and over to people as they rushed through on their way to gates. She is making $100/hr. Don't tolerate this? La Tapenade and don't let the Unions continue to bring your company down as all Unions do. You don't even need this woman. Technology eliminates her job so get the crack criminal out of your airport. She is pick pocketing! They say Chicago is most corrupt city in USA. I sure believe it!

Firstly doesn’t remember what you ordered then confirming rudely. Then saw her almost shouting on someone when he ordered breakfast item during lunch hours. Person at register busy gossiping with other staff. Food got 3 stars.

Person running the register was visibly intoxicated or something. Insisted she couldn't void my sandwich out "because she was about to close". I wanted to void my sandwich because I found out it was 10.99 for a cheaply made ham and cheese. She was also loudly swearing on her phone about her kids.
Negative for the turkey avocado wrap. Just don’t. No flavor, soggy. Who knows how long it had been sitting out. Gross. Will not be back. It’s worth the 5 min walk elsewhere for another overpriced bite.

So overpriced (even for an airport) and disgusting. I got the Turkey Avocado Wrap with a very small side of bowtie pasta. I would say for the price this place is a ripoff, I got what I ordered for $21 CAD. Portion would definitely be a 1/5 for the price to portion ratio.For taste I would simply give it a 1/5. The wrap was cold, soggy, and had no flavour at all. They literally have this premade and it barely even had any ingredients in it.For presentation I would give it a 2.5/5. Did not look too appetizing but wasn't anything horrible to look at.

This review is for the Tapenade in concourse B...Food was well enough, beer too, and the company. But any good lasting impression was completely spoiled by the awful bartender.Didn't catch her name, but described as Polish at birth, late middle aged. Things started please t enough but quickly turned to downright insulting toward my wife. My wife is of Mexican descent. Strange but not that big a deal that she couldn't stop from demanding that my wife was "Spanish". But all downhill from there. We walked out as she decided that the people from my wife's hometown were all too short and dark for her liking. I'm sure there's a job for her, perhaps shoveling what she speaks, but it sure isn't customer service. Time for management to help her find an alternative line of employment.
