They are pretty good, pretty damn close to the original cook, but not spot on. But you won't be disappointed in them, they are a nice size and have a nice thickness to them, and most of all them moist and make you feel you are eating the real thing. I order a full case of butter and case of peanut butter. I think I will start ordering these for family holidays, I know they would much rather eat these cookies that cake all the time.

These cookies are the best, taste just like I remember from high school. Service is fast everyone is nice and polite. It was well worth the trip from the western burbs to get them. If you went to CPS or even if you didn't you'll love these cookies.

Have purchased and enjoyed these cookies over a decade but within the last year the taste isn't the same. What's happened to the original recipe? I'm hesitant to purchase future products. Lady Di's now DON'T measure up to the Salerno butter cookies. I'm very disappointed as I pride myself in supporting good black-owned products!. ?

I have been buying Chicago Lunchroom Butter Cookies {clbc} from Lady Di’s Bakery (via mail order) for well over five years+! Not once have I received anything less than perfect!Golden brown, melt in your mouth deliciousness and good sized cookies too! None of those super small cookies! These cookies fit your whole palm! Made the way I like them, just a little darker around the edges! So good!Growing up in Chicago and attending elementary school there, I know firsthand what these mouthwatering confections should taste like and hers are DELICIOUS!Although I no longer live in Chicago, I’m grateful that she ships them to me. I’ve shared them with friends here where I live now, and I’m pretty sure she’s picked up a few new customers too!Lady Di, I hope you continue sharing your CLBC with us for a long time, passing it to your children.
