DISGUSTINGLY RUDE, don’t eat here. I called 3/2/2024 at 5:10pm to inquire about when they begin to close, and a guy answers the phone telling me they are already closed when the website says something completely different(this, I told him) he then says “the kitchen closes at 5”.. completely disregarding what I just said about the website. I then told him that doesn’t correlate or even make sense with what it says online and he hung up in my face. NEVER EAT HERE. Trash.

BE AWARE. They allow animals inside of the cafe. It is unsanitary to have animals walking freely inside of a place where food is being served to people. The owners should consider making this a place to eat for humans...since humans are the actual paying customers. Bronzeville is being gentrified rapidly and while I understand the the pressure to appeal to the gentrifiers, please consider who this place is actually for.This is a great neighborhood cafe with solid service and quality eats for people who don't mind sharing space with animals, particularly dogs.Gentrifiers can be any race, btw.

We were at a wrestling tournament for our son, we didn't know the area, so like a good yelper, I looked up eating places. This place has great rating so we decided to go here, and I'm so glad we did. The ambiance is chilled, low volume smooth R&B playing in the background. Place felt homie from the start. Very clean and great layout, tons of tables and very clean. The restroom is very clean and decluttered. We were welcomed by Zelda (Yes, I know! How cool is her name?) she was lovely, very patient and kind. Zelda has a great smile and she's soft spoken. I ordered the Caprese sandwich with diced chicken, my husband had the turkey sandwich. Food was great! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

Super clean and aesthetic shop! I definitely recommend the turkey sandwich! The cajun aioli is so good that I had to order two more so I could save it for home. The staff was also very friendly :)

I've given this cafe several opportunities to make a positive impression, but it continues to disappoint. The service is horrible, and the sandwiches lack effort. I was just served the worst chai latte I've ever tasted. As much as I would like to support local business, I'll never return to this establishment.

I live on the same block and had passed this place many times going to chicken and waffles. I messaged on IG to check if they had wifi as I wanted to stop in and get some work done for a change of scenery (I work from home). They got back to me in a few mins welcoming me in. I've only had a few of the food items and smoothies but what I'm most impressed with is the staff and the fact that they give you enough dressing for your whole salad. It's the little things for me

WOW just discovered this GEM today! The food was soo good and the drinks were great too. My husband and I will surely be visiting regularly. The service was fast and thorough and the counter clerk had good recommendations based on my taste. Inside the shop is clean and well maintained so you feel confident ordering food from there; and the overall aesthetic was quiet and cute. They have WiFi so I'll be back to work from there for a few hours. Can't say enough good things about this place; 10/10 highly recommend.
