Lots of fun here and really good drinks. Went to 3 different bars before going here. The others were packed and this one was only partially busy for trivia on a Wednesday night. We were able to fit about a dozen of us there for drinks but I kinda wish we went there for food too because it all looked really good

I'm so glad we decided to check this spot out for lunch one day bc its def one of the best Pubs around. It has such a cozy vibe yet its a pretty large with multiple sections. The waitstaff were all so friendly / welcoming & the food is top notch. Honestly, the Best Fish in Chips I've had in Chicago, thus far & I've lived here my whole life! The Fish was so fresh & perfectly fried, plus the meal was HUGE I took leftovers home and still had some remaining when I was full. We also ordered a salad which had great fresh ingredients as well. Although, we went for a quick lunch and beer, it seems like a great spot to hang with a group of people considering the size and overall vibe of the Pub. We will definitely be back!

Was here randomly on a Sunday because I knew the previous bar that was here and lemme tell ya this new spot is a huge improvement! Don’t hesitate definitely order the lobster corndogs soooo good and unique. Also don’t sleep on the mussels the butter sauce is so good. 2nd best mussels in the city in my opinion and they hook it up great portion. This place is a great addition to Wicker. Causal atmosphere with elevated food!

Lone Owl was very accommodating to our party of 6. We had a large booth that worked well for us. The food and drinks were really good, as everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The burgers were made perfectly and the salmon gnocchi was delicious. We ordered the Parmesan wings as an appetizer. They were a little too “wet” for some, but the flavor was good. No complaints whatsoever. Would definitely visit again when n the area.

We ordered cheese ball appetizers and they were cold on the inside, they were going to have them redone but we ended up asking for fries instead. The staff was very friendly and nice, they were apologetic about the food mishap. The atmosphere is 2 stars because you seated yourself but a huge party had taken over one of the rooms and we took a table near the front of the bar area. There were flashing lights that were pretty distracting that I was able to turn off. Just a lot going on.Parking: It’s Wicker Park, be prepared to hunt for a spot and pay.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not, steps at the entrance, all of the tables are bar top and there is an upstairs that you can’t even stand up in.

Lots of potential with an interesting menu and a good atmosphere. But the night we there service was clearly understaffed leading to a pretty poor experience overall (missing drink order, cold food, etc).

The waitress got my order wrong on several points. I asked for barbecue chicken she gave me buffalo I asked for straw she never bought it to me. I had to have someone else bring me my straw. I asked for larger glass. She bought me one just a little bit larger than the one I had before, just overall terrible service

I love this place and went 2 twice in 2 weeks lol I'm not sure why it took us 6 months to try it. The service was really good. The owner was even there helping run food and checking on tables which I really appreciate and you can tell he cares about your experience. the atmosphere was really good too and the place is so nice! the library area is so cozy! the food and drinks were great too. They offer mock tails which is awesome since I dont drink and usually have to ask what non alcoholic fun drinks places offer. I got the cubano sandwich and mussels, loved! Definitely will get the Cubano again and it was huge!! The mussels were good but needed more of the sauce/juice. I will be returning!
