This is a college dining hall so please don't have that high of expectations. The ambiance is satisfactory. Fair warning: they have zero options for vegetarians unless you like eating sand with grass on it. The service was mediocre but they are all really nice people.

I've never had such terrible service. The person that was helping me didn't say a single word and looked like she was about to knock me out for just existing. You could clearly see she had no interest in being there and absolutely despises her job. I understand work sucks, but please at least respond when I have a question. Food isn't terrible, I've had better, but for college food I can't complain. I'm definitely never coming back though, I felt like a complete outcast in there. Loyola needs to start listening to people's complaints about this place.

While it is part of the LUC campus dining program, it is still open to the public. Staff are nice. Portions are ok. Prices are reasonable too.

This is a great place for Loyola students. If you have a meal plan then you should use it here. However for the general public Lu’s is just ok. A lot of other places one could go and get a better sandwich.
Every single time I've tried the plated meal here, I've found hairs in the food. Like full, long, hairs tangled up in the pasta and the bread and even the chips occasionally. It's seriously disgusting. The only reason I give it more than 0 stars is because the people there are really nice and I like them a lot. I just wish they were more careful with hygiene-related things.

I was in to have a sandwich today and the lady working the register didn't greet us or show any sign of gratitude for our business. She simply waited without speaking for our payment. We ordered 25$ worth of food for 2 people and she somehow managed to forget to give chips for the Sandwhich we ordered. I also noticed that the student behind us in line ordered the same sandwich as me and this student was given her sandwich before me. Please improve attitude, service and gratitude for our business.
