Rude waitstaff. It was busy when we went in, the way the waitress disregqrded me was unacceptable. The female manager seemed like she truly loved the place, the male in the purple suit really seemed to be quit full of himself. He show the meql was but you could tell he did not care.

Despite the crowded atmosphere, our server, Ricky, remained exceptionally professional and friendly, striving to provide us with his full attention. However, the tables were too close together, and unfortunately, our neighboring table, occupied by a group of friends, was excessively loud throughout our meal, detracting from our experience. The guacamole and chips starter was marred by chips soaked in oil, and the same issue persisted with the fries. While the Lux Club was enjoyable and delicious, overall, the food could benefit from more careful attention. Despite this, I appreciate the ambiance of the establishment.

We went on a very busy Sunday during lunch hours. The food was mid-tier, nothing to rave about but otherwise satisfactory (got served cold fries however). They were out of quite a few menu items when we went so our table had to go with our 2nd/3rd food options.Drinks are very good, so I would come back solely for those but it’s perhaps too crowded for me to warrant coming back just for drinks.However, for how crowded it was our server did a decent job at making sure we were taken care of.

I went to Luxbar while visiting Chicago for the first time last thursday night. I sat at the bar and was really enjoying the atmosphere as well as my drink! I ordered 2 dirty martinis and after drinking about half of the second one I started to feel really drunk. I had only had a glass of wine at dinner about an hour before and I am someone that drinks pretty frequently. I decided to leave and thankfully was with a friend. After leaving I have no recollection of the rest of the night. I woke up feeling terrible and discovered I was very sick the night before. I am 100% certain I was drugged at this bar. I have no idea if it was done by an employee or a customer. All I know is I have never completely blacked out off of 3 drinks in my life or been that sick. I just wanted to come and write this review because I hope this never happens to anyone else here. Luckily I was with someone I trusted who took care of me, but it’s scary to think of how differently this could have gone. Please be safe and watch your drinks at this establishment!

We were going to a different place on this street and saw this place. What a find. When your visiting a new city you want to try something different this is the place. Great breakfast choices I love lox and bagel and it was here. Great french toast. great prices you must try this place in a great area and nice street.

Always love LUXBAR! Food is great, and the environment is upbeat and fun. I always get their Buffalo Chicken Salad, but asked if they could make it into a wrap...and they did! Highly recommend LUXBAR to locals and visitors.
