The biggest machete I've had, quesadilla type taco. You can get different meats on the same machete is pretty nice.

Always call ahead to order if you're not dining in. Rear entrance only. It's easy access through the place, but it's complicated to go back to the road. This is a high-level traffic intersection.Parking: The parking lot at rear through the alley.
Machetes is an excellent stop. If you like tacos, you're going to love this. I had the birria machete with consomé and also tried the peanut spicy hot sauce ooh wee has some kick too it very delicious leaves you wanting

I was really excited to try this! I loved the whole quesadilla concept. The place was clean, plenty of seating and the cashier was a sweet lady who took every order with a smile! The food was really good, but there was a little something missing for my taste. It wasn't bad or anything just needed a lil more ooomth. The prices were my favorite, I ordered my meal and ordered to go for a fairly decent price. I still want to go back and try perhaps another meat.
This is a very nice comfortable place to dine. I had a quesadilla and a bowl of soup. The food was very tasty and delicious. The service was exceptional and all at a great price. Highly recommend this place!

We drive by this place at least once a week so my husband and I finally decided to stop by for lunch. We both ordered their Machete which is their largest quesadilla. I had steak and chicken and he had steak and rice. I ordered rice and beans and a sprite and he had a jarrito. Our total was $39.65. I think that's pretty pricey honestly. Yes the Machetes are long but they are basically thin burritos. You can add your sauces on your own and load up on the veggies like cilantro, lettuce and onions to beef your quesadillas up at their little condiments station. I don't think I'll be back. The meat lacked seasoning. The tortillas are handmade so that's a nice touch but overall it's really lacking flavor. Cool concept just not tasty enough food to come back. The steak and chicken were bland, the cheese wasn't even salty or buttery. Nice employees however.

I had the 3 taco dinner with beans/rice and bowl of consome birria. OUTSTANDING. I've had tacos all over the city and this place is right up there. A+

Always delicious! Usually buy 3 different kinds of machete jr. Chile relleno, chicken tinga, barbacoa. Hits the spot everytime. Even the salsas are delicious. I appreciate how yall give sour cream in those packages too. Its the little things that show how they care for their consumers.
