We order fried mushrooms, falafel, and bbq cauliflower for starters. We ordered tacos, jerk tofu bowl, sloppy joe, and falafel burger. Everything was well seasoned and balanced. Generous portions. Amazing flavors and great quality. Nice ambiance, helpful staff, amazing cook and owner. Best of all? Completely kind to all Earthlings <3We will be back!

My go to is the fried grits can’t find them anywhere else in the city. This is definitely the place to get healthy flavorful food.

I was excited to try Majani because the pictures look amazing. I was actually skeptical. Well the pictures don't do the food justice. I ordered way too much food but ended up finishing everything. The service was exactly what you'd expect from any five star, high end restaurant. I even got a visit from the chef to ask how I was enjoying the food. I'll definitely be visiting again soon.

What a delightful experience eating at Majani! We went there as a family. Meaning to visit for a while that eventually happened on St. Patrick's eve. Ordered BBQ Cauliflower, fried grits, jerk tofu tacos, black eye pea fritters and a jerk tofu bowl. All items were top notch and tasty. Owner stopped by and welcomed us as well. My top two were the tacos and BBQ cauliflower. And don't miss the ginger lemonade too, very tasty, not too sweet, had a delightful ginger flavor.

It’s rare that I come across vegan food like Majani’s that feels so rich and like home for me. I had the Jerk Chick’n Sandwich and Mac n Cheese side; please know my plate was cleared quickly. I had some delicious deserts to take home as well. I’ll definitely be back.

Brought lunch for my mom and I....I spent like $60 for the two of us. I was a like skeptical it first with it being a meat alternative. But to my mom and I surprise it was really good....it taste just like regular food.

This restaurant is a real Chicago Gem! The food is fresh, locally sourced, and absolutely delicious. I CANNOT get enough of the BBQ cauliflower it has become my weekly treat! Also I am a huge fan of their brunch menu as it is always changing and is a great value. The vegan cheesecake is better than any real cheesecake I’ve tasted. I have come here with vegan and omnivorous friends and everyone always leaves satisfied.

I came here to meet a friend for dinner. She’s vegan, but I am not - I will eat vegan food though. She comes here all the time so I was excited to try this place out. I love that the majority of the menu is actual plant based realness and not a bunch of processed fake foods. Everything is cooked to order and is hot and fresh once you get it. I ordered the gyro wrap and it came with a side of sweet potato fries and omg - it was so good. It doesn’t have a nasty rubbery texture either. The ginger lemonade was really good too. I live all the way in Rogers Park, but I’ll absolutely take the drive to come down here again to eat, it was absolutely worth it. Vegan or not, you’ll find something to enjoy here. They did change their hours although they aren’t reflected in Google yet, so a lot of people were confused when they came in at six and were told that they were closed. They are closed Sun-Wed and open Thur-Sat from 12pm-6pm.
