Came here for my husband’s birthday per friend’s recommendation. The food was great but the service sucks. We can see other tables getting served faster and better than us, server was nowhere to be found. Our wait time was longer than the time we spent eating. For $300 bill service should have been better. We were sat on the corner, the table next to us had a different server that’s getting a lot of attention and even got to talk to their server and entertained us a bit since he also noticed our server is not tending to us.

Me and wife came here for my birthday, the side dishes was ok, but I had the bone-in Ribeye 22oz and it was very chewy, for a 100 dollars it was not worth it, I did like the live entertainment, bill was almost 300 dollars for two people I expected a lot more, also they pick and choose who they make follow the dress code, valet parking was the worst, they pulled off fast in my car and almost got in a accident, and they making up they own prices we caught them trying to overcharge us more than the regular price, we contacted Mastro’s about it they can careless, they said they are a third party company, overall Mastro’s got to do better for these prices.

This the third Mastro's I've dined in, and the food, service, and ambiance have remained consistent! The main Mastro's I tend to is the one in Houston, but the Mastro's in Chicago did the job! For drinks, I had the Sangria which is always my go-to and always delicious! For appetizers, we had the calamari and oysters Rockefeller. The calamari was amazing! The sauce to top the calamari adds a great touch of seasoning. For the entree, I had the petite filet and a twin lobster tail. This is one of my favorites and it's easily always a 9/10. We ordered the lobster mac and cheese and brussel sprouts as sides to share, and those are two sides you can never go wrong with at Mastro's. Overall we had a great experience! Especially since we didn't have a reservation and were able to walk in and wait a bit to get seated.

I ate at Mastro’s yesterday and I was not satisfied with food, the macaroni and cheese was very salty and so were the brussels sprouts. The steak was good. However, when I got home I had terrible stomach issues which resulted in diarrhea. I just would like an adjustment on my bill. I spent 175.00 with tip. I spoke to Liz this morning.I was hoping to have a great experience but i did not. Ms. Price

The first thing I noticed was how engaging the hostess was. We were seated upstairs and we loved the feel of privacy there. Our server was Blake a conscientious young man. I informed him that this was our first visit and he walked us through the menu and specials. We order various cuts of steak and one chicken meal. The sides were Brussels spouts, Lobster Mac and cheese and broccoli. The drinks were apple martini and lemon drops both served on dry ice and was quite the presentation! Every entree was delicious and served with the perfect temperature. We don’t live in the city of Chicago so driving down for over an hour to Mastro’s was worth it!

We came to celebrate Valentine's Day on 2/17. We both ordered steaks and asked for medium rare. Mine was bloody rare, his was rare and charred on the outside. We both asked for Whiskey Old Fashioneds, his was 3/4 of the glass mine was barely 1/2 full. Restaurant was loud, server talked way too quiet and rarely checked on us. Food was just not good at all. We will never be back and never recommend. Not a romantic setting in the least. Tables are packed in tight and noise level was so high you could not hear the person you are sitting next to.

I found a jewel in San Francisco. The food, ambiance, service and staff were the best! Eating alone isn't always comfortable but everyone was so friendly, they made me feel at home. The food was excellent. Thank you! When I return I will be back. I have recommended to all of my friends who visit the city.

We had a family dinner that was wonderful. Everything was perfect. The staff is incredible. They offered impeccable service that was personalize and professional. Bravo! The atmosphere is dark and sleek. The round booths are large and comfortable. The soft lighting sets a perfect stage for elegant dining without being stuffy. We enjoyed steaks, tuna, scallops and sides. Everything was prepared perfectly. Of course we finished with the infamous butter cake. We added chocolate covered strawberries and mango sorbet. We left a happy family!
