Very lovely experience here with friends! Our server was extremely kind & attentive by consistently refilling our waters and checking in on us throughout. We ordered the shakshuka ($16.50), spicy flamenco omelet ($17.50) and green juice ($6). The shakshouka was the best I've had and the crispy, chewy pita bread that came with was a great pairing. My boyfriend got the omelet and he thought it was standard but satisfying with a good spicy kick. Would return again!

Came in from a different state and was searching for good breakfast spots and the food here is very delicious and the amount of food for the price is amazing!

the food is okay, but the prices for dining in are so much more expensive than to take out and they still expect you to leave a tip after that. You pay about 50% more and you don't even get coffee in this price (which you get when you buy to-go).

The hanger steak was cooked PERFECTLY and seasoned properlyThe vegan pancakes were delicious and the subtle hint of vanilla really sets them apart. If you’re in the area definitely worth a stop.

This place was OKAY at best! Imma be honest, I’m tired of all these Mexicans they bring into the city, THEY CANT COOK! The toast was burnt! The hasbrowns was burnt! The egg was overdone! The plate was very carb heavy and not balanced, kinda greasy. The price was fair I guess. The service was decent. Get better cooks. This is why k don’t go out anymore, lousy food for cheap labor. I’m ready to get out of Chicago

The inside was brightly lit with lots of windows. The portion sizes were huge. They serve coffee and mimosas, bloody Mary's and other drinks. The service was very good.

Meli Cafe is a hidden gem that checks all the boxes! The food is top-notch, the service is on point, and the vibe is super chill. I'm hooked on their pancakes and French toast - solid choices that never disappoint. The menu is massive, offering something for every craving. But here's the secret sauce - their homemade juices. Absolute game-changers! Make sure to treat yourself to those, they're amazing. Whether you're a foodie, juice enthusiast, or just after a laid-back spot, Meli Cafe is the real deal. Can't wait to dive back into that menu!

OMG where do I start. This place is heaven on earth. Food and service is great!!! I live up in the suburbs and every time I go to the city I make sure to stop in for a bite. I've been a handful of times now. I'm not one to try new foods on a menu for fear of being disappointed. I took a leap today and tried something other than the sweet pancakes I always get and I couldn't be more satisfied. of all things I had the chicken salad and it's the best salad I've ever had anywhere. 5
