So glad I stopped here on my way to the Navy Pier. I have a mean sweet tooth, and this place definitely caught my eye. I love the decor and bright, welcoming atmosphere. Also it's really neat that a lot of the area is school-themed (desk seats, a pencil sharpener on one of the pillars still, etc). And the cupcakes, of course, it was amazing they have a create your own option, which I was tempted to get especially with a mini size available, but then I saw the creme brulee cupcake, and even though it was a regular portion, I knew I had to try it. It was delicious- the right amount of sweet, and the cupcake itself, while heavy, was still really moist and packed with flavor. I would definitely return to try some more flavors. Staff was nice and friendly too.

DONT NOT ORDER HERE! Extremely unprofessional and rude experience! Called about my order and was not being helped and hung up on the phone. Will NEVER EVER ORDER from here again!

Every time we visit the city we always have to stop at Molly's. They have the best cupcakes anywhere hands down. The brownies are excellent as well. The people who work there are always super nice and the place has a really nice friendly feel to it. If you love cupcakes and treats I highly recommend you visit.

For our wedding we didn't want anything traditional so we did a few cupcake tastings and Mollys was great! We were able to choose a few different flavors and also have a small personal cake for us to cut at our wedding. They delivered timely and the set up was just as we wanted. I will recommend them for anyone who has an event or just wanta sweet treat! Thank you Mollys!

Seriously, Molly's has to be my favorite cupcake shop in the Greater Chicagoland area. When I visit any of their locations I always feel like a kid, except I have my own money to spend! LOL!The River East (Streeterville) location is near my workplace where I can easily stop by before my drive home. However, depending on the time of day, you have to hunt for a park. Well today, I had some afternoon PTO, and when I driving in the area, there were two parking spaces available. I was quick to grab one!Although it's the beginning of March, the flavor of the month carried over from Valentine's Day.The first option was the VelvetBerry Cheesecake, which has red velvet cake with cheesecake baked inside, plus strawberry cream cheese frosting and topped with dehydrated strawberry powder.I don't like red velvet cake of any sort, so I skipped that one.The second option and the one I choose was the Berry-In Luv, which has strawberry cake, white chocolate mousse filling dipped in ruby chocolate ganache, topped with a strawberry buttercream frosting and a red heart!Yes it was a lot going on, but my tastebuds were super happy.I got 3 more traditional cupcakes for my home. The Peach Cobbler - you can never go wrong with this cupcake. No matter how many I purchase, I always get this one. LOL! I also got the hubby the Cookies and Cream and Samoa. All in all, my afternoon was joyous because I was able to get a great parking spot and visit my favorite cupcake shop!

Friendly staff. Good space with a toilet for customers. Some cool flavor combinations. But the cupcakes-- especially the toppings --are so sweet that the flavors are often very very very obscured.

We just happened upon this place while out for a walk and wow how amazing are these cupcakes! I had one w salted caramel and it was incredible, best buttercream I've ever had! The person working (Rocky, I think) was super pleasant and so friendly, and the environment was super cute! They have these swing style seats that are kinda adorable and cutesy too.

Tried the flourless chocolate cupcake and it was fantastic. Great that they have a gluten free option. It was very fresh and the employees were friendly.

I’m very picky about cupcakes and Mollys delivered!! These cupcakes are moist, their filling is flavorful, and it’s delicious. They are better than sprinkles hands down. They taste homemade with love and finger licking good. And one of my many favorites the tiramisu I was shocked to see they had it in a cupcake version.

Molly’s is a little expensive but honestly worth the premium. As most shops in this area, parking is difficult so keep that in mind.Parking: Loading and unloading zone with blinkers in front
