A solid Vietnamese restaurant on Argyle Street. Saw several posts on Instagram recommending this place so decided to try. I was pleased to see they offer Bun Rieu ( tomato & crab) soup noodles as not all pho places serve this. The Bun Rieu was on point and came with a good variety of veggies. I also ordered the char grilled pork vermicelli bowl which came with a generous portion of pork. Note, they open at 10 am, even if they don't answer the phone. Paid street parking. I recommend and will return!

I had high hopes for this Vietnamese restaurant, especially since I'm a big fan of bun rieu (tomato crab noodles soup). After a long drive from Wisconsin to Argyle, we paid and parked on the street. Despite the lunch hour, there were only a couple of tables occupied. Ordering was quick, and our food arrived promptly. The bun rieu looked promising, but the broth was overly sweet, and the addition of shrimp and quail eggs was unexpected. While the dish overall was decent, it seemed to have an excessive amount of MSG, leaving me feeling extremely thirsty and with a headache soon after. My husband enjoyed his grilled pork vermicelli bowl, and the banh mi had fluffy bread but lacked protein. If we go back, we'll stick to the vermicelli bowl and steer clear of any broth dishes due to the MSG levels.

Vẫn là một trong những món phở ngon nhất ở Chicago. Gia đình sở hữu và điều hành. Still one of the best pho in Chicago. Family owned and ran.

This is one of my favorite spots for pho in the city! It is tucked a little farther down from all of the other spots on Argyle so don't miss this spot because it is pretty great if you're looking for a good bowl of pho. The broth is well-balanced and the price is a little cheaper compared to the other places in the area. It is very mom and pop shop vibe which I adore and they were kind. We also did the pork chop rice platter which was good, i just wish there was more meat - which i notice is very common in Chicago that their rice plates give you a very small portion of meat! Overall, definitely getting my pho here again!

Great food and great service. If you're looking for a great authentic experience with an actual inner city Asian vibe this is it. I recommend the bahn mi... I've had some pretty good bahn mi's and this is definitely one that ranks up there... just a cool vibe and very original...

A crowded dining floor opens up amazing flavours and delicious dishes. However, all pricing listed online is incorrect, this is NOT an inexpensive lunch spot: expect to pay double any price listed anywhere online. According to their posted online (google drive) menu, I'd ordered a roughly $40 lunch for 3. In the end I paid WELL over $70 before tip. As such, I cannot recommend. Tasty food: bait-and-switch.

GREAT PHO. Probably one of the best phos I ever had during my travels. Will definitely go back for more.

The pho broth is rich, generous, and delicious. It is boiled hot and goes well with rich soup. The meat quality is good and the vegetables are also good. When I'm looking for rich, flavorful style pho in Chicago, I'll come here.

Friendly service and outstanding Vietnamese food. The spring rolls are the most delicate, melt-in mouth kind I have ever had. The ingredients are super fresh. The rare beef pho is delectable. Generous serving of meat in a subtle broth, which you can tell was made with a a lot of care. The menu is extensive. Highly recommended!

We are from Atlanta so we know plenty of good pho places but this spot if one of the very best and we even had it to. We were received with a smile and our order was ready. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere friendly. My son had beef pho and I had chicken salad. Delicious!

The food was okay until we saw a hair in our pho. They took it off our bill which was nice because accidents happen. However, after we noticed someone else at our table also had a hair in their pho. We didn't say anything the second time, but I won't be back.

The chicken pho was good and the pork loin appetizer was good. Forgot the name of the appetizer. Could stand to be a little cleaner but otherwise was very happy with the food. I'll be back.

Favorite pho on argyle. Dare I say best pho in the city? Always consistently delicious and I’ve been coming here for 10 years. Service can be a little slow depending on when you go. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu so order at your own risk. But the pho takes me back to eating pho in Vietnam.Plot twist: I’ve never been to Vietnam.
