It’s extremely aggravating when Google says they’re open at 2pm on a Sunday. Yet we get to the place and the place doesn’t open until 5pm. Happened twice already. Not going to try to go a 3rd time. Keep your times

Cocktails were creative and delicious. Knocked down a star because non-alcoholic options were almost nonexistent. Seemed to receive disdain when I asked for a Virgin version on my second round which they said they couldn’t do, and then for anything non-alcoholic. The only option was a can of seltzer. :(Also the acoustics and sound when there’s a number of people get noisy pretty quickly.

Is one of the greatest place to try mocktails in Chicago. They offer a wide variety of creative and delicious mocktails that are sure to please any palate. From fruity concoctions to sophisticated blends, they have something for everyone. The ambiance of the place is also quite pleasant to enjoy your drink. I was served by Grace who was an amazing Bartender and managed to make me some Mocktales that were not even in the menu! ????
I would have left a five start review. However the service was lacking immensely. First when asked about making an adjustment to a drink the bartender gave a condescending tone to a female friend of mine for not knowing the basics of a White Russian. 2nd, the bartender lacked any personality/social skills when interacting with patrons. “What do you want” is not an appropriate way to greet a patron in a smaller more intimate cocktail bar. I love the drinks but the bartender made my experience, and my friends’, for the evening less enjoyable.

Love the local dive bar feel, very informal and friendly. Do know that nothing was happening quickly as the one bartender was trying to open, prep everything and switch over to the winter menu for the first hour+ we were there (happy hour). Also out of several basics at first like tonic. You're free to bring in our own take out from the hot dog joint next door which is fun and easy to do.

I hate leaving bad reviews, especially for a local neighborhood bar, one which I really love going to (half the time) but the owner's need to know what is going on in their establishment. There is only one problem with this otherwise delightful bar at the end of the brown line, and that problem is huge; it's the bartender that works on Friday nights. Another review says his name is Danny. I don't know his name for sure, but I know he works Fridays. I think he works other nights, but I know Friday for sure because that's the day I really want to get a drink with friends after work. I stopped giving my money to this place on that day, because of how terrible the service is. According to other reviewers, the same rude, hipster makes up the cocktails too, which makes sense because there are too many of them, they have "fancy" ingredients that most people can't pronounce and they take way too long to make when the bar has more than 5 people in it. I would imagine a miserable person came up with the cocktails so they could simultaneously annoy their coworker, alienate the clientele and destroy the business they work for. Too cool for everyone! My friends say the cocktails are ok but don't think they worth the long wait and the eye rolling. What's okay to order, if every order makes the bartender annoyed? Anyway, I'm only in there for a call drink, shots or beer, and I have to wait a really long time to get that here when that bartender is working. It takes less than 20 seconds to get a beer open it and put it on the bar, but in order for that to happen, the bartender has to ask you if you want another drink, or welcome you, or not ignore you when you are trying to get them to acknowledge you. I don't understand why anyone would employ someone like this in a service industry. I don't know if he's an owner and that's why he's still there, but it's really unfortunate. It is such a cute bar that has a great WELCOMING vibe on every other night, except when that bartender is working. OWNERS: I know this is a long negative review and I'm sorry, but your in my neighborhood and I'm writing this to hopefully help you know what is going on with your business. I can guarantee that you have lost money with this person working for you. Some weekends, I've passed by your bar to see it mostly empty, and I'm sure this is the reason. In minutes, the train right across the street can take a person to areas where there are plenty of bars where they can get a drink.....if you are the owner AND the bartender on Fridays that I am talking about; never mind. I'll just spend my money elsewhere until you go out of business and there is a better managed bar in the same spot.I will give it another shot within the next few months and hopefully I can update with a 5 star review.

What a wonderful place! We came for the Wednesday before thanksgiving, and as busy as it was, what a great place! Good drinks, even better music. Just wish the place was a little bit darker to bring the vibes, but will come back again!
