I love my bbq. I'll travel an hour any day of the week if it's worth it. Needless to say I came back here 2 days in a row just for more. Brisket is to die for and them beans just hit different.
I really want to gate keep this spot! The hours are until he sells our, which is usually by 4 p.m.! The ribs brisket and Mac & Cheese are my faves. However, I think if you order greens a corn muffin should be included. Staff, service, and cleanliness are excellent and consistent!

I had heard about this place and finally stopped in. Small spot, very clean and tidy. Owner was behind the counter working hard. We ordered brisket sandwich and ½ a smoked chicken. I wanted to try their greens, but they didn't have any ready. We also tried their Mac and Cheese. It wasn't really remarkable, but the brisket and chicken are definitely reasons to visit again.

This place is a great hidden gem in Beverly. I just happened to pass by while I was out with my son so I stopped to pick up lunch for my family. We had the St Louis ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, and a brisket slider. For sides we had the mac n cheese, greenbeans (because the greens weren't ready) and coleslaw. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! I see a few complaints about the service but in the tradition of restaurants like Burts pizza where the owner was notoriously ornery with questionable business practices and sub par customer service, THE FOOD WAS WORTH IT!!

The food is good but the customer service could be better. Don’t get upset with customers when they expect the restaurant to actually have food during business hours. The sarcastic comments from the older gentleman is a turn off and made me not want to return. You can do better if you didn’t treat your restaurant like a hobby!
First off, a very clean and welcoming restaurant. I was on a lunch break and stopped in. Placed my order, as we've all had barbecue before. Until you get your first taste, then you realize it's very different in texture and taste. Setting it apart and raising the bar on BBQ. Cooked in such a way, the fat melts and meat so tender. Yumdelicious. Definitely will return.

Picked up take out. Ordered the family dinner for 2 and an additional half slab of ribs. This food is so fresh and you can taste it was made with care. All the meats were tender and juicy. Will be ordering from here again.I haven’t had luck ordering on line, but going in and ordering in person was great.

The food is good, but the owner yelled at my 85 year old mother because she said I haven't seen you in a while. She loved this place and recommended to many people, now she won't go back. Shame on you!
Called to place an order for pick up because online ordering was not available. Whom ever answered the phone was just awful. Literally felt like I was bothering her and interrupting her day. She made it sound like it was going to be a chore to take my order and then asked me to hold. I just hung up. I work hard for my money I’m not going to give it to people who can’t be bothered.

The food is good. I usually get the rib tips and they are tender and favorful. The problem I have with this place is that they are always running out of food. If you go early, you will be fine but if you go after lunch you can be sure that they will be out of something. Don't understand why they can't fix that problem.

Food is consistently delish, service is always excellent, and the space is super cute. I believe the true test of good bar bq is being able to eat it naked (sans sauce) and it still make your eyes roll! I also love their mac n cheese (never dry) and greens. My only gripe is that I think corn bread should be included with the meal and especially greens. Be mindful that they are open until they sell out. Last week I called at 3 p.m. on Friday and when I arrived at 4:30 p.m. they had sold out for the evening. Nevertheless, my food was fresh and delicious as always!I won't say this about many places as there are so many restaurants in Chicago but this one is wort a drive if you don't live in the area.
