Excellent value and quality Mediterranean food. The chicken shawarma came with generous portion and great flavor. The addition of four complimentary topping (I picked baba ghanouj, hummus, and grape leaves) also tasted amazing and very fresh.

DRIEST SHAWARMA I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Also, the rice was undercooked and the grains were hard in the middle. Oh, and a $1.50 upcharge for literally two tablespoons of tabbouleh?! I know Chicago doesn’t have much good Levantine food, but I keep hoping I’ll get lucky. The shawarma from this place seriously tasted like someone took mediocre to begin with shawarma, meticulously removed every trace of fat, then put it in a cheesecloth to squeeze out all possible juice, and then threw the cheesecloth bag of dry shawarma into a clothes dryer set to high heat for 45 minutes. It was a chore to eat this dry, hard meat. It even kind of hurt my teeth. If I hadn’t been ravenously hungry with nothing else to eat, I would’ve thrown it all out (but I did throw out all the hard, undercooked rice). Shawarma is SUPPOSED to have SOME fat, and it should be juicy! Never ordering from here again, and advise you not to, either. I really wish I could get my money back. ‘Oasis?’ Pshhh. The food tasted like it was left out in the blistering sun of the Sahara!!

Ordered delivery from Uber eats - fast delivery and the food overall tasted good. I ordered two Chicken Shawarma Bowls and paid for one extra topping. Loved the Date Maamoul dessert. Even with four toppings plus a paid extra on the bowls, I still felt like the bowls were 85% rice. Very disappointed by the portion size and will not be ordering from here again.

Got delivery, was delicious — literally, my only complaint was that a gyro platter came with just one pita… was expecting more, especially since I doubled the protein. Also, they provided a lot of rice.I got the lamb/beef gyro platter delivered.

Solid shawarma - good moisture and thin wrap makes it very easy and enjoyable to consume. The meat felt slightly worse than my favorite spot in the city, Falafel & Grill. Not bad by any means and maybe it was due to delivery.Really liked the fries though, nice and crispy and reheated well too.

I have not experienced a more attentive wait staff. The main guy running the front lave every time I walk in is fantastic, the food is delicious, and it is the only place open late on Diversey. Best place for late night eats PERIOD.Vegetarian options: Veggie bowl HITSSSS, also baklava is solid
