I have attempted to dine in 4 times already, always around 5-7pm and it's always closed, I wish they would update their hours and days they are open.. it might be just the weekend?

Order lunch special and rolls, excellent, fresh. I like the setting. Nice and friendly people. I just drove by and sure glad I stopped in to try!

This is a hidden gem and hole in the wall. If you’re a fan of Wasabi Ramen, this ramen is a close second on the west side. They have Studio Ghibli themed decor, relaxing vibes. BYOB. I’ve come here a few times already! There is usually one waitress there at a time. If it’s packed, be prepared to wait a little. My only complaint is that it’s always cold in there, but bring a sweater, you’ll be fine.

Hidden gem! Cute interior, feels like we are abroad somewhere when there at night. Food was great, the broth of the chin ramen was creamier than any I’ve had before, making it unique and delicious. Also got the Monoke roll and the Davy Jones - both of which were great and unique. Honestly already thinking about going back there for breakfast the very next day. Split everything with my boyfriend and he loved it all as well. Highly, highly recommend!

We have been twice and will be coming back many times. It is a great small local sushi bar with the best sushi in Oak Park/Galewood/ Elwood Park. Great service.

We ordered delivery and thought it was alright. Nothing special but solid sushi. For the price I expected a bit more.
Love all their spicy Tuna rolls, fast preparation, my sushi go-to but their little corner location is THE BEST date night spot. Intimate, dark, and the staff is always so friendly! A MUST-VISIT if you want to grab a bite!
Such a cute intimate place to get sushi. Waitress was sweet and attentive. Spicy garlic edamame was delicious. Spicy miso soup was delicious. The sushi was delicious and so many options. It looks like it’s BYOB. Overall I recommend this place. Perfect for a date.

Waste of Money! I decided to order takeout from Okami Sushi, but unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. I had visited the restaurant while in the neighborhood for a doctor's visit, and unfortunately, I regretted my decision to try their cuisine despite hundreds of 5-star reviews. As soon as I arrived home, I was unpleasantly surprised by the poor quality of the food, despite its nice presentation. I ordered edamame, tonkatsu ramen, and chicken karage. The edamame had a moldy taste and needed to be disposed of immediately. The tonkatsu ramen had small, heavily breaded chunks of fried chicken, even though I would have preferred pork tonkatsu. The menu states chicken tonkatsu I wouldn't recommend it because they use the chicken karage which was very dry, overcooked, and had an excessive amount of breading. While the atmosphere at the restaurant seemed pleasant when I picked up my order, my overall experience with the takeout was not. Therefore, I would give Okami Sushi a two-star review.

We did gyoza, a spicy miso, and a couple of tasty rolls for date night a few weeks ago. Everything was tasty, and things came out fast (we were there around 6:30 PM for a date night). A special shout out to the Miami roll; you can't go wrong with a deep fried roll!My only minor issue here was the price; this is technically a Chicago restaurant even though this is across North Avenue from where I live in Oak Park. In that way, the prices felt a tad high for the value proposition here.I'll be back for takeout from here for sure; it's intimate inside, but it's a little quiet for my tastes on a normal night on the town.
