went here on a saturday around lunchtime and managed to snag a table without having to wait. service-wise, this was not the best experience. we did unfortunately have to wait quite a while to order, and once we did place our order, the staff ended up forgetting about our order until we called someone over after waiting for over 30 minutes.food-wise, i thought it was fantastic. we had the special 777 (pho dac biet), which was full of different kinds of meat. i don’t eat a lot of pho, so i’m not the most experienced judge. i thought it tasted great, and i loved it even more when i added chili oil to my bowl, but my vietnamese friend thought the broth tasted slightly too fatty and not fragrant enough.

I went because of the high reviews, but left disappointed. The soup was VERY bland. The atmosphere was weird too and service was subpar. They give lots of bean sprouts though.

The food was so good! I knew the place was legit immediately when I came in—the place had all the traditional markers of a good Vietnamese restaurant including a fish tank, a clock in the shape of Vietnam, Tết decorations, a vat of ginseng wine, and a little kid doing homework in the corner. I ordered the cánh gà chiên nước mắm (fried chicken wings in fish sauce), bún chả (vermicelli and grilled pork patties), and bò lá lốt (beef patties rolled in betel leaves)—all very good. The portions were generous too, as usual with Vietnamese restaurants.

I haven't been here since their old location! Restaurant is clean, even the bathroom is clean (and that says a lot in an Asian restaurant) We came here after the lunar new year event and omg the food is still as good as I remember it! Service was fast, waiter was friendly. I e been trying other pho places and yes this is still as good and. I haven't found another one that is just as good. Definitely will be coming back!

Pho 777 is a large open restaurant and their new spot has a stage and looks like a karaoke set-up. Not sure if they have regular karaoke or bands but they're definitely set up for a great night life activity. Food here is always really good - the pho is the perfect amount and they certainly do not skrimp on the meat or noodles. The rice platters are some of my favorites, especially the special 777. Their homemade kim chi is probably some of my favorite in the city. Service here is always super quick and efficient. One of my favorite spots if I'm craving some homemade vietnamese food!

Third best pho place in the neighborhood but they have more than Pho to offer. We love the menu and the photos.

There are better restaurants around the neighbor. We like this place when it was at the original location. Their food was consistent. They moved across the street and it was our first here. We ordered pho, bun rieu and combination pork chop rice dish, egg roll. Our waiter was not that friendly. He seemed annoyed that he had to take our order. He forgot our egg rolls. The ingredients used were not fresh. The bun rieu was salty and has a annoying pungent smell of shrimp paste, never had I ever turned off my the smell of shrimp paste like that. I asked if there were veggie for my bun rieu. The waiter pointed to the basil and bean sprout he brought out for pho. The rice dish mean has a variety of ingredients that definitely was not freshly made today and they have a fried shrimp you can get from Costco. We ordered pho for our kids. Our 7 year daughter stated the meatballs do not taste good. Overall experience was very disappointing because we had to pay for a meal that we didn't enjoy.

This is probably the best pho I ever had. I actually couldn't even believe it. I ordered delivery and got the pho tai. The biggest thing that stood out to me was that the meat was seperate. A lot of places I've ordered pho for delivery had the meat in the broth, so it was really tough and rubbery by the time I ate! The broth was EXTREMELY flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. It's also a pretty hefty portion. Can't wait to have more!

Large restaurant with plenty of seating available on a Saturday night. The server was very enthusiastic with providing recommendations and I felt very welcome, there was no sign of rude sour-faced servers that you sometimes see at hole-in-the-wall Viet establishments in the US. I love that the TV's in the restaurant play Vietnamese music to really set the vibe, and not some football game. *Bo Sot Vang served with bread: For some reason our server said they didn't have actual "bo sot vang" but they had "bo kho" which is almost the same dish but without red wine. The beef stew broth was fragrant, savory, and delicious with the Vietnamese baguette. #61 Com Tam 777 (Special 777 Combination Broken Steamed Rice): Comes with many toppings. Yes, the grilled pork is a little on the sweet side, but it's fairly typical for Saigon style grilled pork and I thought it still tasted delicious. Came with an over-easy egg which mixed with the steamed rice delightfully. #58 Banh hoi bo la lot mam nem (Grilled Betel Beef with Knitted Vermicelli): They did a fantastic job with the grilled betel beef, nice gently smoky flavor, and it came with rice paper rolls and plenty of fresh veggies for that satisfying crunch in the rolls that we made. Comes with "mam nem" shrimp sauce for dipping, but when ordering they do ask you if you want shrimp paste vs fish sauce. We opted for both. #75 Banh cuon tay ho (Vietnamese Pork Sausage Grilled Pork & Cured Sour Ham & Shrimp Cake Steamed Rice Paper Rolls): I will say that the portion of rice paper rolls is a little on the small side but it was still delicious. Comes with lots of bean sprouts and other veggies on top, as well as the toppings listed above that were quite well made. *Bun dau mam tom: This is vermicelli with tofu & pork. The "mam tom" shrimp paste is quite strong here! Also they don't use a lot of extra fancy toppings that you may see at other restaurants, such as fried spring rolls, they stick to the original which is mostly just the fried tofu and the boiled pork slices. They did a great job with following the authentic original taste. The menu at this restaurant does have the typical "basic" items you'll find at any other Viet restaurant in the US, along with a few unexpected North Vietnamese dishes that are more rare in the US (ex. banh da cua, mien luon). I didn't get a chance to try it all but I'll be sure to return here next time I'm in Chicago.

With offerings that span the North, Central, and South regions of Vietnam, this restaurant is a true epicurean delight. My dining experience was a culinary adventure, highlighted by the chance to savor regional specialties from Central of Vietnam. So I had some people tell me try some Pho. I didn’t even know what that was. I’m brown so I usually go for the taco spots. When I was told it was Vietnamese food honestly I didn’t even know how spell that. So I tried this spot out. I was glad I did. The Pho was bueno! The broth with the noodles and meat had so much going on. I went crazy with the hoisin and sriracha sauce. It just added more flavor to it. I also had there beef short ribs and filet mignon (com Bo luc lac). I was like woo that is crazy good. I cleaned the plate. This is my go to spot. Para mi gente check them out you’ll be surprised like was.
