We went to Pizzeria Ora after another famous place was full. It was our first deep dish pizza in Chicago so we can't compare but I can say we were very pleased with our Pizza. We got a large Supreme and had 1.5 pieces left to take home. It was very good. It wasn't oily which I liked. Service was great.

Inside the Best Western River North, we were the only ones eating - what a shame as the deep dish was very good! We asked for it well done and added some parmesan cheese, which kicked it up a notch. Our server, Rachid, was really friendly. Give them a try!

I came here right after I arrived in Chicago from my flight on Thursday! My friend and I were determined to try the deep dish somewhere as neither of us had had it before and let me tell you, our service was incredible and our meal was fantastic! The server was incredibly friendly and helpful and gave us a couple tips on things to check out in the city and the macaroni bites, pizza, and wine that we ordered were all great! I’m planning to move to Chicago in a few months so I’ll be sure to stop back in:)

While in Chicago, I had to try deep dish pizza. Quite tasty, but I think it would be tastier with more cheese and simply a different filling. Nevertheless, the place is very nice, the service is ok and the location is even nice. The price is quite good, I can recommend it :)

I don’t understand the hype regarding this place, as I approached, I quickly realized this place was tucked inside of a best western hotel. As I entered the building I could smell the sweet smell of rancid carpets from the 1980s and immediately was brought back to a time when bingo was the best option for a Saturday night gathering. I was very excited because I had never been to Chicago before and I thought to myself , “this is simply perfect for me as I would like to try a 6” pizza”. I had high hopes setting out on a 17 degree evening on foot. When I got home, much to my dismay, I opened the box and I gasped at what I thought looked like the last option of the night at a 7/11 or better yet, fast track. There was no cheese. The ingredients had all shifted to one side of the pie, and it looked like someone had just dumped sauce, garlic and canned vegetables and smushed them together on a crust that looked like it came from a pre formed package. Possibly even frozen might I add. I could not have been more disappointed. The pizza was abysmal. Whoever in their right mind thinks this was acceptable in any Way shape or form are sorely confused, and have never had good pizza in their lives, and are not to be trusted. To this day (4 days later) I am still trying to pass the pizza through my digestive tract and it might as well be a hardened rock. Attached are photos.

I first was introduced to Pizzeria Ora on a walking pizza tour years ago; I fell in love with its thin crust pizza...oolala.I have been coming back ever since bringing local friends and family as well as visitors to the city. Excellent and friendly service, fantastically wonderful appetizers and main courses and generous drinks. Pizzeria Ora is a MUST for your culinary delight.
Chicken noodle soup was amazing definitely was home made with love. I had an individual deep dish pizza and it was the perfect size. Crust was perfect crispy and not doughy. Friendly Staff as well Will be coming back !

Friendly, fast service. I ordered a deep dish cheese pizza. My only comment is the sauce could have had more flavour. It seemed like it was just tomatoes poured right from a can with nothing else added. Otherwise, the crust and cheese was perfect.

I really should have gotten his name. But the evening/night bartender is a terrific guy. Very fun to talk to. Funny and very outgoing. Because of him I give this place all the best ratings. And anyone I know going to Chicago. I tell them to come meet this guy and say the texas guy sent em. And to order a Michalo ultra from him. So he knows who it was. I had a great time with this guy. And if I visit again. I'm definitely coming back to this place to see him again.
