I have been coming here for many years. I always loved the beef, unfortunately I've had 2 bad experiences in a row. Normally I'd call a place and give them a chance to make it right if there's an issue. Well, I did but it never rang. Phone was off. Anyhow, a few weeks ago I came and got a super beef with provolone cheese. The cheese was old and smelled so bad ... I tried scraping it off but still ended up throwing half the sandwich in the garbage. I called and explained the situation to the girl who answered, telling her the provolone had started turning nasty and they should throw it out. She said sorry about that. No offer to make it right. I let it go. Went back yesterday, ordered another super beef... Ordered with whatever the most popular cheese was (knowing that would be mozzarella) I then added sweet peppers. I drove home and opened up a drenched beef. (Didn't ask for dipped but that would've been okay) There were no peppers and the bread had red sauce on it. I have recently been diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer. I cannot eat pizza or anything with red acidic sauce. I didn't get what I paid for again. I wasn't going to drive up there since I was short on time and "I'm sorry" wasn't going to make me happy. There's plenty of other places nearby for a good beef where they give a damn. It's a shame because they used to be fantastic. Not paying almost $14 for a sandwich that's not made right.

Had the beef and sausage combo meal.This location on Kedzie is slowly going downhill. The bread is soft, and not crusty like it should be, and fall apart. The red sauce is to pasty, and has a dull flavor. Fries are still good.Place is getting dirty and run down, not being kept up, or cleaned.

I have been going here for years. It was always a great place. Ordered 2 corn beef sandwiches . I opened it and they used the heel of the loaf of bread It was a thick hard heel I never been served anywhere the end of the loaf. So I called and thought I would at least get an apology but no she said was this a walk in order I said yes. So I repeated my complaint and she said we do not go through the loaf and pick out certain pieces she said I can call back at 11 tomorrow and talk to day manager that she was the manager on duty. I could not believe not even just a simple I'm sorry I'll bring it back tomorrow! And then there are to many other restaurants that appreciate the customers!

Love pops beef always visit the one in Indiana but this one here I will never come back spent $30 should've just threw my money in the garbage first of all they say big beef put enough beef for small sandwich I ask the lady to dip the sandwich she didn't when I went back in they took the sandwich that I had brought back inside and dip it then gave it back to me customer Service is amongst the worst I've seen I would never go back to this place if my life depended upon it I rather die.. but as I look up and down the line all of the reviews are the same a lot of people coming in thinking they are something they not buy the size of the sandwich money is definitely stretch thin
