Prosecco was the best option for a last minute reservation on a Friday night... for 10 people! They did well! Our server Raul was polite but not chatty - and he didn't miss a beat! He got everything correct (and with 10 people you KNOW there were edits). Even the guys that cleared our table were fantastic! I asked for a coffee refill and he said to me "you had the decaf right?!" Yes sir and thank you for remembering! I ordered the best cooked scallops of my life. Crisp outside edge, soft and melt-in-your-mouth inside. Someone in the group ordered the $60 ribeye and that presentation was beautiful. We're grateful Prosecco could get our group in on a busy Friday night, and we'll be back for sure! Maybe it's our celebratory dinner spot?!

Food and service was excellent but our reservation was 7:15 and the entree did not come until 8:30 now admittedly this was very like eating in Italy with hot and cold antipasto before main entree so no one was starving. Bread service was wonderful It was phenomenal food and excellent wait staff but if you are rushing this is not the place for you but if you want a leisurely evening 2-3 hour dinner it is great!

Sadly the food wasn't what we expected, we didn't enjoy any of our pasta. I'd be willing to try it again because the service and ambiance was great, Italian music playing, low light, we went for our anniversary so it dampened the night but if they'd have us back to change our mind, we'd go.

A friend recommended this restaurant to us so my husband and I went for an early dinner before catching a comedy show in the Loop. Ambiance and service were great but it couldn't have made up for how horrible the food was. The bread was in no way impressive. The Caesar salad looked and tasted like something you'd get from a hospital cafeteria. My husband's steak had great flavor was there were parts of it that were completely raw. The worst dish by far was the Carbonara. It was gray because they put entirely too much pepper in it which completely overpowered the taste of the dish. I've never been served gray carbonara in my life. Asparagus was very good, so they have that going for them. Sadly, won't be going back.

This place had really good reviews so I was excited to try it. However i left pretty disappointed. the restaurant is very elegant, high ceilings, a cool wine rack on display the bar, lots of spacious tables service was super slow... we had to flag down our waiter to take our orders we got the bread (they charge $5 for bread service!) carbonara, rigatoni, steak risotto. the food also took quite some time to come..i check turning around to check if the waiter was around to ask about the food but it was really hard to flag him down. The bread was so average... i feel like if a restaurant charges for bread it should be extra fresh and have some extra memorable element but they served just plain baguette bread...not worth the extra charge. the food was really well seasoned but both pasta disease were SUPER al dente.... like almost crunchy it was very odd. the sauces were delicious though but the inappropriate texture of the pasta really distracted us from the tasty sauce. there are so many italian food options in this area, i recommend looking elsewhere!

I had dinner here with my girlfriend for our anniversary, super romantic atmoshpere, had dim lighting and they light a candle for the table. The waiters/waitresses were super on top of it my water glass was never once close to empty. I had ordered the Petto Di Pollo and oh my gosh that was the best chicken i've actually had in my life with each bite i felt like i ascended, overall 10/10 will definitely be returning asap.

The food is outstanding. The service is lacking. We're dining as part of a wedding rehearsal dinner and the food is taking ridiculously long. We're ready to leave before the final course. The 4 star rating is generous. I'd have given 5 were it not for the wait.

A better place to meet up for drinks than to actually order food. VERY noisy in there, can barely hear waitstaff/ people at your table. Food took forever to come out. I ordered scallops and for $30 I got 3 tiny scallops with some purée and green beans. Maybe 300 calories of total food. It tasted nice but ridiculous portion to cost ratio.

Went here for a late night dinner with a large group. The restaurant was very well appointed and cozy. Our waiter was attentive and provided excellent recommendations for wine and food. The pasta was fabulous and everyone really enjoyed their dinners

Such an elegant vibe inside! Love that they offer a half portion of all their dishes...perfect dinner spot if you're going out after. Delicious drinks and food! A great espresso martini. Staff was friendly and funny!

After a long session with a business executive up in river north, my wife and I definitely needed a martini. We walked out on Wacker and headed north towards our home and walked right by this restaurant called - Prosecco, on Wells St.; we never knew of this place even existed until now? We walked in an loved the facts that the lights were low, the restaurant was quiet (sound wise) and it was "Happy Hour" and we were not going to spend a ton of money. We also liked that this place was completely chill and Zen, unlike our meeting we just finished. We couldn't have been happier being here and sitting at the bar. We ordered from their Happy Hour menu: * The Gin Martini's (of course) * A rather good Caesar salad * A giant Italian meat ball oozing with red sauce - loved it * A delicious pasta Calabrese with shrimp * A Torte di Meme cake that was excellent Our bartender / waiter was adorable, along with the calming atmosphere this restaurant radiated, we loved being here!!

The food wasn't disgusting just lacked a lot of flavor in my opinion, it was pretty bland my entire dinner party agreed. The waiter we had was very slow, although there were maybe 12people in total dining in at the time. The hostess was very nice and sweet and helpful. I would not return or recommend to anyone looking for good Italian food.

Wonderful place great food. Little pricy and loud on the weekends but all and all great experience. The owner personally spoke with me and the busser you would have thought was the owner by the amazing friendly caring service he gave. Few places I have ever visited where I insisted on tipping everyone.

Me & my husband went here for Valentine’s Day, I expressed to the waitress that I had a shrimp allergy. To my surprise, one of the owners came & sat by me & suggested other dishes that would taste great & she was right! I enjoyed the drinks, the food, the atmosphere & I can’t wait to go back! You can really tell they care about the customers by how intimate she was when making suggestions. I appreciated understanding the menu better but next time I’ll make sure I take my Benadryl because I want to taste those other dishes! Highly recommend!
