One of my favorite tamales is pork with chile verde and they had Oaxaceños with that filling! These tamales were really tasty - a lot better than other tamales I've had from different stores or vendors. Not to mention this place is cheaper than a lot of other places as well.

These are by far the best tamales I've had in Chicago. Their pupusas are very good too, but it is a 15 minute wait for those, so it's best to call ahead.

hold on wait a moment... I'm typing this review with one hand while I shovel the Tamales in my mouth with my other hand as quickly as humanly possible. There are tamales and there are these TAMALES.... Reed, Green, Rajas con queso or dessert tamales they are All so-so good. Their is no comparison. Every time... And I mean every time I've come here there's always a line of people waiting to order. There is no parking, no sit down dinner, no beautiful decor and none of that matters! When was the last time you waited in line for anything that isn't superb?La Bendición translates to " The Blessing"... If that's the case consider me a born again tamalero!!

There's street parking around the corner down the street. It's a small building. I think there's only one table to sit and eat. Tamales are amazing, I think they're better in the morning. Green is spicy and the red one is not spicy but yet so flavorful! Deff better than my grandmas!
