I’ve had the jerk chicken and bbq and both are FYE. The food is consistently hot and fresh. I love the lunch specials which are filling and affordable. This is my go to spot for jerk and bbq. I just need them to get a bigger menu on display and work on that customer service but I love this place!

The Jerk chicken and Jerk Sauce were very good. The Rice & Beans wasnt bad but I didn't like the sweet gravy that was on it. The Plantains were old, stale, & dry and I was only given 3 small ones. Mac & cheese was awful, it was very watery and was more like a mac and cheese soup; I never had mac & cheese float in a container before.I probably won't go back because Plantains are the main side dish I want when I eat jerk chicken & I wont even go to a Jerk chicken restaurant if they don't serve plaintains but if I return, I will get the Jerk Chicken Dinner Dark without sides & get plaintains & sides someplace else

I love their barbecue sauce. But they didn't put it on my separate order of fries even though they told me they did but they didn't. Also their links were cooked too hard, very difficult to bite through. But their barbecue sauce is fantastic. ? ?

The food is Super good. The Jerk, curry and oxtail tails is what I get. Tried the jerk shrimp. Needs more spice but was good. The jerk sauce is spicy/ hot - I love it! Restaurant is always clean. I will be returning.

I don't usually write reviews, but this place is outstanding. Genuine Jamaican food, delicious, inexpensive, friendly, fast. It's worth going out of your way to stop here. If you are a tourist or visitor and go down to see the Pullman national historical site, stop by Royal BBQ on your way and show them some love. Get the oxtails or j*** chicken, plantains. I'm sure they do great BBQ but this is the place to go for a real taste of Jamaica.
