I see it is back open and there food is good. They bakery part is really good. The bean pies love them plain or with ice cream. Just lile everything else the price has gone up but I still get one.

I haven't been there in 20 years, but, I get my sister to order a bean pie for me every 3 months or so and ship it to me.

The ambiance and service at The Salaam are so beautifully designed. The servers were very courteous and made us feel very much appreciated. We felt very much cared for, while we had our dining experience. The food was tastefully seasoned, as well as cooked to bring ease to one's palate. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.Vegetarian options: The veggie options were plentiful. Everyone in our party was able to eat and have plenty of options to choose from.Kid-friendliness: There is enough space where a child/dren won't feel cramped. They'll have the opportunity to experience cultural refinement while dining at the Salaam.Parking: We didn't experience any issues with parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator within the restaurant for those who need an elevator.Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of options to choose from. Possibly call in advance to assure that a particular allergy will not be met.
