My wife and I went to Scofflaw on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday and had a great time. The food was delicious and the gin drinks we had were phenomenal, as gin lovers this place is awesome. The staff was so friendly throughout the evening as well, we will definitely be back!

This place is like your favorite album, you never skip any songs, they all hit, they're all incredible. We had the carrots, forager sandwich, pork belly w broccolini (very aptly named as it was a pork belly dish w broccolini), butter chicken, & the best brussels sprouts of my life. Brussels served in a nice deep bowl piled to the top w crispy rice & kimchi & beautifully roasted. A flavor bomb & enormous helping. The perfect beginning. Forager sandwich is so crispy & buttery w delicious 'shrooms n kale. Seems like something you could do from home but genuinely satisfying & served in such a luscious environment. Butter chicken was a cutlet katsu style sliced along the decadent sauce. So crispy such a delightful way to serve butter chicken. Everything was so flavorful. I want to go back. Thank you.

I love mood-lighting, and this place does it well. The large open space including tables, standing tables, bar seating, and cozy back area with a fireplace give you a space for any party size or type. Drinks are well-crafted and special. The food is good as well, but that's not what I'm coming here for.

The food and drinks are ok, a bit on the expensive side for what you get. The wait staff if also kinda pushy. I never have to go back but I certainly wouldn't be opposed. I think this is a place to transplants tbh.

Cozy vibes with delicious food. My husband had two great drinks. The butter chicken was so great and a pretty big portion. The place was full and some tables were close together but the fireplaces and couch seating made it more comfortable.

This place is good and enjoyed the food with some friends. The drinks are very on point and the prices are reasonable. It was a bit crowded, but the drink and food was worth the wait.

Scofflaw is a must go for cocktail bars in Chicago! From the cute chairs in the back room, to the fireplace, to the cookies at midnight, the vibes are always immaculate! They have a solid cocktail selection and while they have a smaller food menu, I've never had anything there that I didn't love. I always look for a reason to come back!

The service is horrible! They act like a New York City high end place. They won't seat you if you don't have a res you just sit there staring at empty seats. The entire time we were there we stared at 5 empty booths. Seriously learn some table turning basics. When we said we were leaving the staff said "oh no, so sad to hear" Sarcastically. Also yogurt drink tastes old lol and a couple days old even. Great $40 spend lol.
