The oysters were very fishy, had sand in them, and half of them were probably dead. The fried chicken wings are the worst fried chicken I have ever eaten in my life. The skin is not crispy and has no flavor. The salmon roe bibimbap was very tasteless, and the eggs in the chawanmushi were too old. The only advantage is that it is open until late at night, but the food is really not delicious! ! ! Probably 95% of the dishes are prepared. Avoid thunder! The oysters are very fishy, sandy, and about half of them were probably already dead. The fried chicken wings are the worst I ever ate. Not crispy and tasteless. The salmon and roe with rice is very unpalatable, and the eggs in the chawanmushi are overcooked. The only advantage might be that it's open until late at night, but the food is really not tasty at all!!! About 95% of the dishes are probably pre-made. Avoid at all costs!

You need to get to here! ? This #hiddengem recently made Infatuation Chicagos list of best ramen places in the city and they’re the only ramen spot staying open until 1:30am! Yes, you can still eat good, late. The Japanese food here is to be enjoyed in their izakaya vibes, which are casual pubs that you can grab lots of small dishes to sample.Honorable mention to the Chicken Curry Ramen and Taiyaki with ice cream - my two favorite items from my visit! I also had a really good Mai Tai and lychee martini.Go check them out for some good food and tell em that Bri from Planes and Plates sent you!

Great Ramen restaurant to come to late night. The neighborhood offers plenty of parking. The place is dimly lit and has a good atmosphere. Ramen was good as well, fairly priced at about $15.

The experience was good. We ordered a couple of Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, and while the taste was good, I believe it has the potential to be even better. It’s a pretty place and the service was prompt and friendly.

Late night cravings & chill spot?? ?? Bridgeport, ChicagoThere were always late night markets and chill restaurants in Asia growing up. We called this 宵夜 "Siu ye" - some of the most famous restaurants are even 24/7 ?I had NO IDEA that Chicago had spots that closed late, let alone 1:30am!It'd be pretty easy especially if you had a car, because even when it's cold, you can go quickly to a spot , park on the street, get some food quickly before driving homeHighlights✔️ Chill atmosphere✔️ Closes at 1:30am daily (closed entirely on Tuesdays)✔️ Takeout available✔️ Food comes out in 10mins or so✔️ Great grilled items like beef tongue, chicken skin, oysters, squid, whole mackerel✔️ Big menu with ramen, grilled items, fried rice, soba, Japanese sake, beers, smoothies, appetizers, chazukeWhat we got (out of 120+ menu items)Chicken Karaage 日式鹽酥雞$8.99Clam sake soup酒蒸蛤蜊 $11.99Hamachi kama yellowtail collar 魚臉$14.99Kalbi beef 肉眼 $9.99Mushroom combo 蘑菇拼盘$11.99 needle mushroom, shiitake mushroom, and king oyster mushroomBlack garlic Tonkatsu 黑蒜豬骨湯拉麵$14.99Unagi don 鰻魚飯$14.99Gyu don 牛肉飯 $13.99Taiyaki fish shape cake 紅豆鯛魚燒$5.99Japanese cheese cake 日式起司蛋糕$5.50Mango smoothie 芒果汁$5.99Sapporo 12oz 日本啤酒$4.99Highly recommend the grilled items, especially the hamachi collar, Galbi, and dons (beef & Unagi don). It’s a self service type of establishment. They will seat you, but you scan the QR code on your table to order from your phone. The good thing is you can send one order and always go back to add later, as I did.I ordered a ramen and crab Rangoon. I was hesitant about ordering the Yuzu chicken ramen since it had baked chicken. However, the chicken was very well seasoned. I enjoyed every bite. I very much enjoyed the ramen. Cost $13.99. The crab Rangoon came with 4 pieces for $5.99. I don’t care for the crab Rangoon since it was mostly cream and onions. I just don’t know where some places put the crab because it’s not in the crab Rangoon.Food came out within 5 minutes or ordering. It was pretty fast. The ambiance is fine. They had Christmas music playing which was pretty good.Seats aren’t the most comfortable. I sat on the bench.Service only got 4 stars because of everything is automated there isn’t much interaction. It was efficient though.Parking: Meter marking on the street.

I ordered the yuzu chicken ramen and was sorely disappointed. I asked for the bill after two bites and was surprised the waiter did not ask questions. The soup tasted a little like dish soap and I couldn't taste any citrus in it at all. The noodles were overcooked and soggy. The worst part was the chicken that was overly salty, overcooked, and tasted a few days old. Maybe it was just a dud order or an off day, but I won't be going back.

Good little late night ramen joint. Everything was pretty on point! Only down side was that the fried rice had too many onions. Definitely will be back!
