I've eaten here a few times over my decade in Chicago. It's always a reliable, solid Thai spot. The pad Thai is very yummy and has all the qualities of pad Thai that I enjoy (sweet, savory, peanutty, texture, moisture), plus the best bonus is the amount of tofu that they add (lots)! They have excellent crab rangoon, my only complaint is the size, which has historically been extremely small, the size of a quarter, and then has an excessive amount of wrapping at the tail end (which I don't eat). Pick-up/Take-out is super quick! I ordered here the other night and my food was ready in about 10 minutes!

Silom 12 is my favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago. I used to work at a Thai Restaurant for 3 years. I was very close with the owners and referred to them as my Thai parents. My Thai “mom” passed away during the pandemic from an aneurism but the Panag curry at Silom 12 is the only one that tastes most like my mom’s cooking. So many incredible classic Thai dishes but the Panag Noodles, Kai Soi, and Tom Ka is always my favorite.ขอบคุณ ครับ/ ค่ะ!Vegetarian options: Most dishes come with a tofu or vegetable optionsDietary restrictions: Great for Vegetarians + Vegans+ lots of gluten free options

I love this place. Authentic thai dishes are their strength. Do try their curries - Massaman, Panang, Green and Red curries. They have some amazing stir fried veggie options as well as fried rice options. You can select from a range of protein options for your choice of meal. They do have a bunch of vegetarian options as well.The service is quick and prompt. The servers are friendly and polite. Do give this place a try if you're around or craving Thai ?
