This was my first stop for dinner on my solo trip in Chicago. I dressed up, called and made a reservation. I arrived early and was seated promptly. The hostesses were very pleasant and welcoming. Yazmine was my waitress. You should request her as yours. She is very kind, attentive and offered great recommendations for wine, dinner and activities for me to do during my stay in Chicago.I had a glass of the Prelius Cabernet, Salmon and whipped Sweet Potatoes. The bread was also very good!
We went to Steak 48 for my sister's birthday. From the beginning, we were greeted with rose petals on the table and a handwritten birthday card. The atmosphere was perfect from everything to lighting and decor.I can not praise our server, Raul, enough for the exceptional service he provided. He was delightful and took our experience to another level. He ensured the birthday girl felt special the whole night, and I am so grateful for that.The food was phenomenal, from appetizers to dessert. Everyone in our group ravished everything on their plates, including the steaks. Everyone could not stop talking about how perfectly cooked their steak was and the delicious sides (lobster macaroni and cheese, potatoes au gratin, and Brussel sprouts) that accompanied the steaks.The cherry on top was the complimentary dessert for my sister. She chose the beignet tree and it was so delicious. To bring the evening to a close she was presented with a gift. I have never gone to a restaurant and gotten a gift from the restaurant before.Steak 48 is the real deal. My friends and I will be visiting again and I thank Raul along with the Steak 48 team for the spectacular experience.
Came for my birthday and Eric our waiter was phenomenal to say the least he was very polite and friendly. Amber was very bubbly and very helpful was presented with a Complementary gift, birthday card and dessert. Love this place and this is why every birthday I come here. Thank you for an amazing experience every time . The food was A1 and the Atmosphere was beautiful.

Took my wife here for date night. The food was good. My waiter was awesome, on top of his game all night. It had like a romantic/mysterious atmosphere, which made it really cool. I do recommend stopping in. It's a little expensive, but well worth it.Parking: They have valet parking. You can park in one of the downtown parking garage and walk.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they do have an elevator too.

This is an elegant restaurant that I felt requires a certain professionalism from the guest that's dining in. With that being said my experience was nothing short of AMAZING! After reading the reviews of people being racially profiled (as an AA woman)was something me and my party of 9 did NOT experience. The waiter was very attentative the food was beyond amazing! Our table had scallops, steak, fried shrimp, mashed potatoes, chicken fried lobster, sweet potatoes, creamed corn. Listen everything was great! The manager came out to speak with our table. I will be back.

Orderd a few items which where pretty good until it came to the stake I got the 22oz ribeye I would have given more stars but this is a stake house and for your stake to be this bad is crazy everything else was amazing but the main thing was the stake and it was a let down big time get the Mac and cheese and cream corn and the pork belly

Great restaurant! Loved the ambience and friendly staff! Ribeye & filet mignon was amazing along with the asparagus, loaded baked potato, & macaroni! Only thing was my sides that should’ve been packed up was thrown out because it wasn’t on my plate I’m guessing? Also the baked potatoes lacked chives and my sour cream for it was also thrown out. Overall a great restaurant and they have lovely birthday desserts!

Only complaint is the picking and choosing of who they will seat before the entire party arrives. It should be an all or nothing because people will certainly feel a type of way.The handwritten note they give for special occasions is a very nice gesture. We were recommended this restaurant, the service and food were delicious! The assistants to the waiters are on it! The food, staff and ambiance is five star.
