The bread is always HARD! Never any fresh cookies or bread. The gentleman that works Saturday evenings has a slight attitude problem. They rest of the worker's very nice. If I pay $15 for a sandwich I don't want bread as hard as a crouton!

24 hour location near Diversey Harbor. Standard Subway! As expected! Fresh. Sandwich was good! The lady, working alone & making the sandwiches, was very smiley & nice! Many drinks out of order in the fountain drink section- see photo.

I visited this Subway restaurant with a friend from out of town on Sunday during a visit to the Brookfield zoo. My order was extremely incorrect, even though I ordered DIRECTLY off the menu behind the counter - the number 16.First, the sandwich requested was burnt hard, and I asked for a warm not toasted (SEVERAL times). Second, I had to repeat my order and the sandwich maker explained they understood and repeated that I wanted the number 16 as is warmed not toasted, and still made it incorrectly. Third, there was NO cheese on the sandwich even though the menu clearly lists the item ingredients and states cheese and which type of cheese is included. Fourth, the third time they tried to correct the sandwich, the attendant actually took the sandwich back from me and took it behind the counter, and added the cheese - I know drive-thru and restaurants are not allowed to take food back from the counter and behind the counter, but not only that, also unwrapped and opened the sandwich and added the cheese in front of several other customers. Along with these issues, and others, I was given a glare the entire time as the sandwich was being corrected (several times) and it was not a pleasant experience for myself nor my guest from out of town.Worst experience ever!

The food, atmosphere, service, were all exactly what you'd expect from a Subway but this location has unreliable hours. Multiple times within operating hours the door has been locked (I guess they don't pay enough to draw in reliable staff Friday and Saturday night). Stick to afternoon hours and you'll be fine.

I come here everytime I go to work the food is always so good and fresh bread always fresh and the guys that work there are the best every last one is so nice today I think he was my favorite it’s around 5:18 today is March 1st he was so kind so nice that’s why I always come here even if I have to walk 15mins I’m coming here great service ?

Unreliable service/hour, rude staff, doesn’t not operate at the hours it promised.This location suppose to open from 7am-10pm during the week. That’s what it says on google maps and their door. I stopped by at 8:30am and it’s still closed. When I call the store. The clerk said “it opens when I open the door” and hung up on me. He should’ve come to me and said “I’m sorry we are running a little late. Please come back in # of minutes”. He didn’t realize his response is rude and unprofessional. I waited for 10 more minutes and left. If you come at the beginning and the end of the day, be prepared to be locked out.
