Was visiting Chicago from Philly and found this restaurant on Google. It was well worth the wait. The food tasted fresh, was hot and tasty. I had the cheese grits, turkey sausage and French toast. Our waitress was attentive and friendly.Kid-friendliness: They had food my 11 year old likes.

Inside of the building was a bit beaten down, but the service, cleanliness, and quality of the food were so well worth it. We came here after my procedure at RUSH.Our waitress, Dylan (not 100% sure), was so sweet and attentive.I ordered the pancake meal with a biscuit and ate almost every bite. My husband got an order of crepes and said the coffee was some of the best he's had at a breakfast location in the area.Definitely recommend giving this place a try and will return.

I've tried three breakfast places in Little Italy and this is the only one with good food and great service. Feels like a diner, but more comfortable.

The food was wonderful! It is a small gem. The service was good but not great. For the amount of customers, it would have been good to have more check ins at our table. I will be back. Hopefully the server is just a little more attentive on my next visit. All in all I do recommend this place.

Didn't really get a chance to eat the food I spent $50 on breakfast I had an omelet with grits and white toast, my wife had the bacon, egg and cheese with grates, first thing we were going to dig into was thegrates, when I saw a few strange of steel wool in it, I don't want to dig in any further, the food went back immediately, all they told the cooks was to watch was in the food instead of telling them to make a new batch of grits, should have let everyone in the diner know not to order grits, that was not a good experience, especially if consumed.

Great breakfast. The biscuits are great. The grits were ok. A little disappointed with the catfish. It needed to be cleaned more (black slim) was still there.

This place is such a gem, it's so delicious and everyone who works there is so kind. The biscuit sandwich was to die for and the pancakes were awesome too.

Sweet Maple is one of our go-to spots when we travel to Chicago. The pancakes are impeccable and the atmosphere is quiet and quaint. It will always be on our top 3 breakfast spots in Chicago.

It's pretty small inside and very high in demand, even early Saturday morning they had a line out the door. I ordered to go and they food came in about 20 or so mins. I had the biscuit, which has officially put this restaurant as a top fav for me. I also got the pick a pepper potatoes with feta, which was so fulfilling and delicious ?

First time, and I will definitely be returning ! The service was great, attentive, and personable. Had the catfish, and it was really good. I'm not a biscuit person, but they were delicious.

Listen, I have been a loyal fan of Sweet Maple for over a decade. So when I haven’t been in while and truly jaded by other breakfast adjacent spots, I had to return to get my fix. I literally was holding back tears after experiencing the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes ?! When I tell they are an earth shattering revelation I am not fibbing. Do yourself some good and try them, you will not be disappointed. In fact, you will be enchanted ✨✨✨
