The taste was much better than I expected. The two of us spent over 500, with nearly 100 in tips. The A5 Wagyu was more delicious than I imagined, and the oysters are definitely a must-order item at their restaurant. The only issue was personal; I’m someone who doesn’t like being frequently asked "how is everything" while eating. Although the person in charge was very enthusiastic, it was just a bit too much for me. I hope in the future they could pay a bit more attention to individual customer preferences.

Really nice place. My first time all the food was very good. The sevice was great. My second visit was not quite as good. The sides were not hot and some of our guests were not delighted.

Enjoyed Swift & Sons for an amazing night out with family. Entrees and drinks were superb, and service was equally as good. Definitely coming back.

Parking: The parking is horrible because there are a line of cars trying to get valet, which blocks the other car from getting by, there is a lot of honking, and people getting upset because of this

This restaurant is huge. Service is overall good. I always get Beef Wellington there. Not a fan of their way of cooking crab cake (they will add lemon to it). Wine list is very long. Cherry sorbet is refreshing.

My son and I travelled to Chicago to CDs tech a college basketball game and we decided to have dinner at Swift and Sons. We had been there before and we enjoyed our meal so we decided to return. We feasted on the 32 oz Wagyu tomahawk and a giant shrimp cocktail. Everything but the steak was reasonably priced. The steak was pricey but came out to order and was incredibly tender and flavorful. Service was timely and friendly. This is an unpretentious top notch steak house. Worthy of its ranking and Michelin rating. One of our two favorite steakhouses in the city.

Swift & Sons was a delicious and satisfying experience for us! We snagged a last minute reservation for 3 on a Saturday night and were greeted with excellent service! The overall ambiance felt like a cozy library and i loved it. The menu was well-rounded and for appetizers we went with the Steak Tartare, Potato and Ricotta Pierogi, and Oysters. All were exceptional. For steaks, we did the Filet Mignon and New York Strip which were all cooked perfectly. The Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Brussel Sprouts were a great pairing. We closed out the dinner with the Creme Brûlée. We've always driven/walked by this place many times and are so glad that we finally tried it out. Definitely bringing friends and family back here!

Swift & Sons is a throwback with modern style. The decor of the restaurant sophisticated and elegant. The art deco interior feels like stepping back in time to the 20's. Our service was fantastic. Server was attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable. Food was timed very well and all members of our party were exceptionally pleased with their selections. I would definitely recommend coming back to this establishment.

I booked this steakhouse based on liking their menu that I viewed both on Open Table and on the restaurant's own website. Their on-line menu is very misleading. Their on line menu has both an 8 oz filet and a "12 oz filet."We were going out for my husband's birthday and we both like filets, but want them larger than an 8 oz, so we look for steakhouses with either 10 or 12 oz filets. I chose Swift and Sons based on their 12 oz, but when we looked at their menu in the restaurant, we saw that the filet was a "12 oz bone-in filet", which is not a 12 oz filet of meat. In my experience, the bone itself weighs at least 4 oz. I would not have chosen this restaurant if I knew this. They need to specify the fact that it is a bone in filet like other restaurants do. We instead ordered the strip steak, which was very good, but it was still disappointing because it wasn't what we were looking for. The 2 sides we ordered were excellent and a good value. The cocktails were over priced and not very good for the most part. Their cosmopolitans were not even filled much beyond 2/3's of a very small glass.

There's nothing to say because it all was just amazing! My service was amazing, the ambiance was picture worthy, and my food was top tier! I'm brining hubby back for our next date night.
