This place is ok and within my budget a bit. I did enjoy their ramen options that you can customize yourself. The tofu side-dish I got was super salty, which makes the meal less favorable.Overall, wouldn’t say it’s the best ramen place in town, but it’s accessible and you get the food for what you need.Ramen is like fast food, so can’t complain too much

Update: the manager reached out right away and refunded me the meal. I appreciate their tentativeness and willingness to resolve the issue.I just ate here and I had food poisoning.

If you know what authentic ramen tastes like, this is not the place to go. Broth has no depth and chasu is not tender. However, if you want a quick eat and you don’t mind taste then it’s fine. The coke is good though.

Love this place !!! The garlic lobster ramen is soo good. You can also build your own ramen bowel. It’s a quiet place and not over crowded. They also have a bar. I also do take out and it always so

Had a tonkotsu ramen and the pork tasted terrible. The fries were very simple nothing special. Chinatown resturants have much better ramen.

It would be a very difficult thing to say I have had any problems with this.Take out is quick since everything is pre prepared which does not hurt the flavor of the food at all, maybe a lil on the noodles.Everything is cooked well, the beef and Choshu appetizers are amazing. The fries are great as well, cooked in the style of McDonald’s fries and to perfection with some pretty tasty seasoning not to die for but definitely great as an app and was not disappointed.Their tonkotsuh ramen or pork ramen was good and I tried it several times before the beef but I’m not quite a fan of the broth and texture of the choshu in the soup but that is only personal preferenceTHEIR BEEF RAMEN ON THE OTHER HAND!!! Amazing, I have had this several times and it is amazing. The seaweed, bean spouts, mushrooms, and chives all are a great addition I usually get extra meat, bean sprouts and mushrooms which u cannot go wrong with. The meat in the beef ramen is the same meat from their appetizer which only makes it better here. THE BEST WAY TO CONSUME THE BROTH IS TO BREAK APART THE EGG THAT COMES WITH IT (only if they give a sunny side up that is is kind of runny), THE YOKE ADDED TO ANY BROTH ENHANCES THE FLAVOR TIMES 3 and you would be missing out on so much flavor if opted not to. My order was 26$ totalOn take out the noodles suffer a lil but that’s only cuz they are a lil tough this way, just make sure ur broth is hot and loosen them with a spoon or sticks and let it soak up some breath for about a min maybe less.I cannot tell u how happy I was that trying real ramen for the first time and coming to this place, it’s not at greasy maybe a lil fatty but this stuff is great for my sensitive stomach I can eat this and fall asleep if I wanted to. This stuff is great when ur sickNot to mention employees are great

Food: 5.8/1000Food: had the tonkotsu and spicy chicken karaage. Tonkotsu was just ok. Broth was nice and rich, pork was a little under seasoned, noodles were thin but good, and the egg seemed like it was pre-boiled? Chicken karage wasn't spicy or crunchy but flavor was good.Service: waiter came to our table once to take orders, forgot drinks, and never came back so we had to flag him down each timeAtmosphere: nothing fancy or outstanding, just a small ramen shop

I would have to say that this ramen shop is one of my top 5 places to get ramen. This is probably the only ramen shop in Chicago that allows you to "Build your own" ramen, which I like. This ramen shop also serves Tan Tan ramen, so if you're craving that, you'll certainly find it here. The ramen tasted amazingly good, but I would have to say that the portion size is a little bit less compared to other ramen shops like Kinton Ramen, Uma Ramen, Furious Spoon, etc. The gyoza tasted good as well. The service is good and quick. This ramen shop is a great place to satisfy any ramen cravings or to grab lunch during your day.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Tamashii Ramen," and it was an experience worth sharing. The quiet atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxed evening. The staff's friendliness added a delightful touch, making the visit even more enjoyable. Now, onto the main attraction – the ramen.I opted for the Grand Tonkotsu, and the combination of succulent pork meat and rich broth was nothing short of divine. The depth of flavors in both the meat and broth showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. My wife went for the Spicy Ramen, a flavorful masterpiece that not only packs a nice kick but also stands out as a delicious choice in its own right.Aside from the culinary delights, it's worth noting that "Tamashii Ramen" maintains impeccable cleanliness, including the well-kept bathroom facilities.Overall, our experience was a perfect blend of tranquility, warm hospitality, and mouthwatering ramen. We'll undoubtedly be returning for more.
