cutest little store with nice ambience and different music rotation everytime i’ve come in, so that’s fun and new! i’m sure i’ve had at least 100 drinks from top tao!! so good and so fresh; everything they make is wonderful! so many options for everyone; fruit lovers, creamy and sweet, or traditional boba style, there’s something for everyone here! my favorite for a while was the thai tea with double sago (even in the winter!!), but on a particularly sweltering day, i will go out of my comfort zone and get either the avo coconut smoothie with flan and sago, or the mango smoothie with cream and sago: one of the nicest creations in my opinion! anything taro is also delish (add flan for a new flair!), but for me, sometimes trying something totally new makes a bad day better <3 top tao 4ever!

Favorite boba shop in all of Chicago! I've had bad experiences with other boba shops and chains where products and service are inconsistent. Top Tao truly stands out for their superior product, tea itself, always consistent in flavor and service, you can truly tell this business is concerned over the quality of their brand and their presence in the community. Would drive over an hour if I had to just to get boba from this shop in specific. Highly reccommend, support your local businesses. You will not be dissapointed.

Amazing. The teas are very delicious. I enjoy how you can also adjust the amount of sugar added to the drinks. My favorite is the Pink Grapefruit with Lychee popping boba with 50 percent sugar-definitely try it out!!

Great location to grab a drink. There are kiosks to order if you pay with card but a employee to ask if you rather pay with cash. The service is friendly an the aesthetics are nice. My visit was slightly busy but they got everyone in and out in a good amount of time. The cups are of quality, i do not feel like they will break if i squeeze or grab it too hard lol. The drink was perfect, the Brown sugar boba was not overly sweet and had a nice caramelized flavor.

I've been here a few times now, and after today's visit, I will not be returning. Not only was the bubble tea extremely mediocre each time, but Janet was very rude and her comments were uncalled for. She called that my drink was ready, I come over to get it, and instead she ignores me for another customer while I stand and wait. I wait for a few minutes but after long enough I just go to grab my drink since I don't have 5 minutes to wait for her after she already announced that it was ready, after which she basically tells me I should've waited even though she already told me it was ready. Horrible horrible behavior and she really shouldn't be wearing such revealing clothes while at work. It's quite unprofessional and I think she just needs to show off her stomach to distract from her ugly face and rude personality.
