Family owned place who have been around for years, just newer to this location, but the food is superb!!! We had the pulpo al diablo - perfectly tender octopus in a spicy sauce, I had the enchiladas de mole which were out of this world! My husband had the cod tacos - best in city (yes at a Mexican restaurant); the cucumber margarita was amazing and don't forget the elote and churros! Place is bright and welcoming, the staff is super friendly and attentive - if you're nearby check the place out now!

My favorite taco place in Chicago and the friendliest staff! It’s been family owned for 2 generations and the staff definitely has a family vibe. Everything on the menu is great from the tacos to the octopus.

Had coconut flan and it was to die for. I am never a custard person but this was just amazing. Also had a burrito (which was huge) and tacos which was just fine. The ambiance is good and they really have some great cocktails on the menu. Would go back for dessert for sure.

We ordered the Quesabirria dinner, THE ABSOLUTE BEST BEEF BRISKET tacos. The beef was juicy, flavorful, generous, and MOST of all DELICIOUS!!!Al Pastor burrito. It was HUGE, roughly 1.5 pounds of heavenly pork and beef, along with lettuce, tomatoes, beans, sour cream, and cheese!Also had the guacamole and chips.....AUTHENTIC and delicious!Portions were huge...enough leftovers.The owner, Carlo, is so helpful and accommodating, knowledgeable,This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant!Thank you!!!

Surpringly decent tacos. I came in thinking they were not going to be authentic at all but the Alapastor taco was really good. The asada taco lacked some flavor but it wasn’t bad. The guac also lacked some flavor but again not bad. The margarita was really good. The service was a bit slow even though there was hardly anyone at the restaurant.
