04/02/24 - What an awesome add to the neighborhood. Teriyaki Madness is in the mall next to The Smash burger on Foster Ave. It's less than 1/2 mile from my house. I actually sampled their chicken teriyaki @ a Yelp event up in Lake Bluff @ Bernie's Book Bank. Teriyaki Madness has a store up in Gurnee, IL The teriyaki comes in 3 different sizes, Junior, regular or large. I ordered the regular sized chicken teriyaki bowl & it was more than enough for me as I had a little bit of left overs to take home. They have different options like regular or spicy chicken, chicken breast teriyaki, steak teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, tofu teriyaki & chicken katsu. Wry good seasoning w Great options. They also have appetizers like edamame, egg rolls, chicken potstickers & crab Rangoon. I was very pleasantly surprised w/the grilled chicken teriyaki served over brown rice w/veggies like cabbage & broccoli. I really enjoyed my meal & scarfed it down. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items like the steak teriyaki or chicken katsu.

I think I've been to one of these in the western suburbs--at any rate, it seemed familiar and piqued my interest when I saw that there was one in Mayfair. And it was an easy lunch/dinner to pick up so I was happy to give it a try! I stopped by shortly after their opening, I think (maybe within a week or so) and I think they were still getting their feet under them. The food was good, and I ordered online which made pickup pretty easy. There's not much seating, but it's great for take out, in my opinion.

I tried it for the first time and the food was awesome. I will definitely be going back soon. It's a great healthy choice. I had the spicy chicken teriyaki with a chicken egg roll and it was very good. The owner was very friendly. Great addition to the neighborhood.

First time trying and will definitely try again. It's just a little overpriced if I'm being honest but the food was good and plentiful and I love that they have edamame as an option instead of eggrolls. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Wow. Well. Unfortunately, this was not teriyaki chicken. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and it didn't even resemble teriyaki. The vegetables we're good, I ordered the fried rice and it was quite heavy and goopy. The chicken was more reminiscent of a Middle Eastern dish. Unlike teriyaki, which is a sauce, the chicken seemed as if it was seasoned with more of a paste and the flavor wasn't remotely close to what one would imagine to be teriyaki. I ate about 20% of it and left. They were busy, so I'm sure that indicates that people like it. It just wasn't like any teriyaki I've ever had.

My first time trying Teriyaki Madness today with my friend, it was really good, I do think there should be more orange chicken due to how much rice there is personally but otherwise it’s amazing. Me and my friend both enjoyed it. I also liked that the cashier came up to us and asked us if the food was good. Pleasant experience, will definitely be going there again sometime.

Me and my family went to try this place out and it DID NOT disappoint!! I had orange chicken with fried rice and crab rangoon and it was delicious! The fried rice was soft and the orange chicken tasted a bit sweet to me, I enjoy it!! The crab rangoon was also delicious as one would taste like. Overall for my first experience, I give it a 5/5 ⭐. Definitely recommend!!
