The new Budlong website says you can order for delivery online through their website but you cannot. Called the location on Armitage and they said I have to use grubhub or uber eats. Tried to order through both apps but both orders cancelled by Budlong. Was looking forward to the food so this was unfortunate. Disappointed the website and the employee were not helpful/ did not work.

Budlong has easily become one of my favorite fried chicken sandwich - the honey bbq flavor is delicious and never disappoints. Completing the meal with their amazing banana pudding is a must!Perfect comfort food.

We've been going to Budlong for many years and always craved and looked forward to the next time we'd order from you. I assumed with the new look/ownership, they'd keep doing what the prior owners did best as it was incredible. Ordered two times in the past 6 months and sad to say we won't be ordering from you again. There's 5 in our family and we all agreed it wasn't what it used to be. It's now super salty, the chicken is very different than in the past and the chicken is a lot smaller than it used to be. Super sad.

I'm reluctant to write this review because I used to love Budlong. You can TELL the quality of the food went WAY down. The Chicken Sandwich: chewy, small chicken, bread is subpar and breading isn't the same. Used to be tender, so big I could barely finish it. Mac n' cheese: just tastes fake I couldn't take more than two bites and now they add jalapeños? Not in a good spicy way. I'd rather eat Kraft. Biscuits: the most disappointing. They're stale, no flavor and the jam tastes like strawberry Smuckers... Biscuits used to be flaky and buttery, I could eat it by itself. Before they changed the jam, it tasted homemade even had seeds in it. Not a fan of this new ownership and it seems like I'm not the only one :( not very inclined to return

I really enjoyed my time at this place. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was extremely clean. My food came out in a good amount of time, though I will say that I came at a time when there was really no one there. I ended up getting the Yo' Mamma xetra spicy chicken sandwich with thigh meat, and I loved every single bite of it.

Well sad to say but this place is overhyped. The sandwich I got was average at best. The bun that it came with did no justice to flavor of the chicken. Flavor of meat was on point and I have nothing to say against that, but the slaw was missing on all points. Price that is charged for this sandwich does not equate to what you're paying for. The ambience of the restaurant was nice, with the dim lights and "old/antique" furniture you get a down south feel. My only issue with the sitting is that the tables were sticky, something needs to be done about that. Overall you're not missing much if you don't eat here..

Terrible service, average food. Took 15 minutes to get a glass of water. Would recommend much better options along this street for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Very good, honey barbecue is one of their best flavors. Coleslaw is amazing. The Mac and cheese can be a little more seasoned but still good.

New ownership killed this place. I would drive an hour to eat at this place. Now they changed the wings. Horrible compared to what this place was before all the changes. They had the best wings in the city and now I can get what they serve at any gas station

I’ve had better the Breast chicken was +$3 which is ok if it wasn’t so dry and thin looks like 1/4 of a single chicken breast ,honestly chifila or Wendy’s would have a bigger patty. If you want a genuine chicken sandwich take yourself to “Roost” they drag but you get high quality compared to budlong. anyways back to budlong there atmosphere was dull, 2 big speakers for no music? Service was good but kitchen could’ve put some love into the food they are paid to make, especially while it’s slow.

Great hot chicken! Love love love it! We pick up from Budlong more than I'd like to admit.

Best in the City! The spices have so much depth and you got to love just how crunchy the outside of the chicken gets. The deep red color of the spices produce the his invitation into heat heaven. Always come out smiling. Budlong, you got my vote.

Used to be my favorite spot, and I'd tell anyone looking for some Nashville style fried chicken to go here. But The Budlong has fallen so far from what it used to be. Ordered the tenders and fries for my side. Let's just say the size of the tenders, compared to the cost was very saddening. On top of that it used to be 3 big fat juicy tenders, now its just 2 that weigh like an ounce each.
