What an incredible place to dine. The duck wings and the brussel sprouts were phenomenal. The blueberry tart was possible the best dessert I’ve had in a long time. We will be going back!

I’ve been here many times and have always had good food and good service. The menu changes based on the seasons though a few options are always on the menu. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The duck is very good, but they have excellent fish and vegetarian options. Once, service was slow, and they comped us a pasta they brought to us while we waited for what we had ordered and the dessert we ordered at the end. Which brings me to the other positive of Duck Inn and that’s the service. I’ve never had bad service here. The Duck Inn is a special place and reflects well on the Chicago food scene.

When you think of The Duck Inn, you think of Duck, right? And you should, because the duck is wonderful, and that alone is worth the trek to Bridgeport. But what if I told you that they also served the best seafood I’ve had in 2024, Walleye over clam chowder emulsion. Generously portioned, crispy skin, cooked to perfection, it’s the best walleye I’ve ever had at a restaurant and it topped all of the Dover soles in recent memory. Escargot ravioli with spring peas and truffles was the perfect accompaniment to my walleye. This was an exciting and unique dinner. I loved it!Make a trek to Bridgeport and try The Duck Inn. Order your rotisserie duck in advance on their website, but definitely order the walleye and escargot ravioli, too! Unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of the walleye. The Duck Inn2701 S. We shared the rotisserie duck and it was amazing. If you don’t live in the area it’s worth the drive.

The food was okay and nothing to rave about. The duck costs $70 and the breast meat was dry. Its nothing special and you can buy a juicier and tastier duck at a Chinese restaurant for half the price. The steak cost $93 and for that price you can eat at Fogo de Chao. Everything was over salted and I was so thirsty for water afterward.

Their Rotisserie Duck is my new favorite. Perfectly cooked. The duck was so soft and juicy. Well balanced flavor. Amazing combination with winter citrus. Definitely recommend!

This place still sells foie gras, which is made from the incredibly cruel practice of force-feeding ducks. They have little toy ducks too as if they think it's funny! It's all in really poor taste. Please sell products that don't require hurting anyone.
