Last minute reservation...but so happy with our pick. Service was great. Our waiter went over the menu and when we chose our meals explained how they are cooked and prepared. Mojito was very good. Food was amazing! Chicken was cooked perfectly and spaghetti bolognese was perfect! Would definitely eat at The Smith again when we are in Chicago

Been to The Smith before, but this was the first time I experienced brunch there. Had to find someplace last minute for Easter for a party of 7. They were very accommodating. It was very loud but that's ok considering we had 3 kids with us under the age of 6. lol

We had an excellent experience! Ellen was very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free safety, and the manager Chris came out to assure me of everything they did to keep me safe. We had the pressed chicken (best chicken skin I’ve ever had!!), the spaghetti Bolognese with gluten free penne, and the burritos as an appetizer. Ellen even brought my daughter a cookie with a candle in it when she found out we were celebrating her 16th birthday! 10/10

Nice place! Visited while in Chicago. Went with a group of 9. Service was good. Food was pretty good! They give you bread with butter service and that's always a win in my book! I had a mule to drink which was tasty. I ate a kale quinoa salad and added grilled chicken. They gave us one bill for the party, but the waiter was able to charge specified amounts on each card- would have been easier on all of us including him to just give us separate checks.

The entire staff should be proud of themselves. Even on a day when the river turned green, they were ON TOP of things, and smiled as if it were a normal day. My Smith Benedict was fantastic, and I can't imagine how good this place is on a "normal day" if there even is such a thing in Chicago. WELL DONE!

Extremely loud and mediocre service. Food was good but you literally have to yell to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. Having a conversation across the table is impossible. Everyone in our party agreed the noise level ruined the experience. The entire restaurant is ceramic tile, all the walls, floors, etc, so the sound is amplified with nothing to absorb it. Not a good option for larger parties or business meals.

All around great - Here during St. Patty's with family. Got in ahead of reservation for a late brunch. They've got a great kids menu, and were really accommodating. Very busy, but no one seemed stressed, and we were well attended to. we ordered pancakes, french toast, caesar salad, burrata toast - all excellent.

Loved using this app since we were at the Chicago River while they were turning it green for St. Patrick's Day. Everywhere was packed and we were able to get into the Smith IMMEDIATELY. We were sat right away and though our server was very busy, he took the time to let us know the specials and that the "brunch" items came with some specific complimentary cocktails. Everything was fantastic. We had the Shrimp and Grits and I had the salmon toast with the complimentary sangria and bloody Mary. Would recommend.

Decor: sleek, upscale bar, with plenty of seating and outside lightStaff: the bussing staff was phenomenal and made up for the off host who couldn't stop laughing (for reasons we don't know)Food: tried a few dishes, the fries, the salmon toast, and the Benedict. Each were okay. For me the fries texturally were great and oversalted. The entrees we're good not great. And the pricing of overpricedCocktails: they were out of the Sauvignon Blanc, spritz and sangria were good not great. Each table gets still and sparkling water too.
