This is an old-school bear/leather/backroom bar that's not changed much, which is kind of cool, and the bartenders are always friendly. Despite some recent controversy, they are extremely inclusive, as is historically and culturally consistent with the bear community

Great bar to meet like minded men . Casual social front bar with great bartender John and back bar more discreetly with Franke on Tuesday Nights. Never leave without meeting a great variety of new friends!!

We had nothing like this on the South Side when I was young growing up so I am making up time and enjoying myself to the fullest every time I get the chance to stop by. This place is Heaven on Earth for people like me who like to experiment with new looks and smells.

This used to be a fun place, but we're very disappointed in Touché for taking our money (via Venmo) for the Chicago Water Buddies party and then not letting me in. Although I got there an hour before the scheduled end time, they still turned me away, telling me that the party had ended hours earlier. I could hear what sounded like the party going on from behind the closed door (to the back patio), so I get it: I'm not hot enough for them to want me at their party (I'm the white/Asian guy in the photo with my husband). And I also get it: the fine print disclaimer says they might have to turn people away "if the space is too full". But any way you try to spin it, it's discriminatory false advertising. Not cool, Touché. We really thought you guys were classier than this.

Near my house. Too loud at the weekends!

I seen the racist sista girl puppet! I can’t believe the owners would allow this kind of blackface racism as a form of “entertainment “. If this is what this bar stands for I won’t want any part of it

Touche Chicago can be described in three words: Sad. Racist. Disgusting. Allow me to elaborate, David Boyer (the manager) hired me to DJ for I.M.L. Weekend several years ago and what a debacle that experience turned out to be. I wasn't paid for my services, accommodated in a roach infested roadside motel, and accused of being high on drugs and smoking in the DJ both. Both of which are blatant lies. During the course of the evening, Mr. Boyer repeatedly used the word "nigger" specifically in relation to the crowd. After six hours of dealing with David Boyer's harassment, I walked out not wanting to be associated with such negativity. Years later, David Boyer stole a trademarked logo from my production company and only after being threatened with a lawsuit offered an apology only to inform me that I nor Mark Vallese (my manager) and a legendary Chicago DJ were permanently banned from "his" bar. Such a ridiculous statement coming from someone who doesn't even own the bar. Don't worry, we won't be back to your shithole establishment.ANYONE WHO FREQUENTS THIS BAR SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES SINCE YOU OBVIOUSLY SUPPORT DAVID BOYER'S DISGUSTING BELIEFS.

I went to this place last night bout 130am. The bartender was this Black guy with broken eyeglasses and was probably drunk as well. He asked me for ID which I provided. He then tells me that the ID is not mine because I look too young to be born in the 70’s. At first I thought he was joking but he was serious. I’m 45 years old. I don’t need to sneak into any bar. Stay away from this place guys. They obviously don’t need customers.

I went to this place last night and the bartender refused to serve me talking about my ID isn't mine because it said 1978. Told me that I looked to young. But isn't that why people carry ID in the first place? I'm 45 years old I don't need to sneak into any bar! The bartender was this black guy with broken eyeglasses so he probably couldn't see very well in the first place so why is he the one checking IDs in the first place? And he seemed drunk. This needs to be resolved because I did like going to this place every now and then, even though it smells like urine.

The said they’d have the Super Bowl on tv but they didn’t pay for a bar license to play it, so it got shut off but they still told people at the door and over the phone it was on. They didn’t offer any compensation to people who came to watch the game. This bar needs to close and a new spot needs to open. What a joke.
