The vegan donuts were amazing. My 10 year old son, who has a dairy and egg allergy, was able to experience a donut for the first time! The staff was very friendly and the old school arcade games were an added bonus. We'll be back on our next trip to Chicago!

Delicious pastries!! Especially the crookie (croissant plus cookie dough) — it’s so so good I have to actively avoid buying it multiple times a week

As someone who is severely allergic to nuts and also vegan, I find it hard to find places to eat at, as a lot of vegan dishes contain nuts. I was in Chicago for the first time and got to eat donuts for the first time in literal years!!! They were absolutely delicious, it made my entire trip! I also had the togarashi bowl and it was so delicious. Will for sure return when I'm back in Chicago next. My sister also ended up getting the trending cookie dough croissant they had, (ofc I had to try it), and just wow!! We couldn't stop talking about it. Awesome place. Places like this literally save my life and I wish I could find more spots like this.

I've been going here for years, so I feel qualified to review. Everything from Liberation is consistently good. It's locally produced, and locally owned. The prices are fair. I do wish the burger would return, but other than that I have no complaints.

Their donuts are amazing best vegan donuts in Chicago and that I've found. If you want a quick bite I also recommend the sausage wrapped in pastry puff.Vegetarian options: Technically the menu is all Vegan not just vegetarian ?

I can truly say I love this place! Upon entering there’s a warm welcome from the team. They’re happy to have me come in. I have tasted a fair amount of the food on their menu and it’s very fulfilling and satisfying. The nacho plate, bacon Mac and donuts are delicious. The flavors are there! Never disappointed. Always happy to support them. - Breezy

pretty good vegan donut, a bit sweet, but given its small size, it is not too bad calorie wise. and they have an arcade on that's you can get a pass for (they might be here for a limited time, so call before you come). Seating is limited, but you can grab things to go

Heard a lot about this place. Honestly felt overpriced and mid. I got the Mac and cheese, donut, and a sausage roll. The donut was great, and the food came hot and fresh, but it just didn’t hit right for me. Max and cheese felt too salty, sausage roll was decent. Nothing I would go crazy for.

Grab a meal, get a donut, and enjoy the arcade pop up, you won't regret! Street parking is quite easy, and they have now indoor seating too.
