Cute restaurant, the service was good. Now the important stuff. My wife liked the pizza, I was not a big fan. As in the taste was just ok to me. Nothing special, wishing I had gone elsewhere. The crust was good, cooked properly. The toppings just didn't have any pizazz for me.

As a total connoisseur of really great pizza no matter where I go, I have no problem finding a pie aka pizza, but finding a really really decent place A place I can recommend to family and friends or visitors from out of town It requires a bit of a hunt ,as someone who loves finding a go to spot with a authentic taste A great crust and sauce And quality sausage it involves me to go a bit out of my routine Comfort zone that is trying other places, And finding Villa rosa tonight was with the help of Google search all it really took was me asking Google for five star pizza near me so I suggest to anybody who keeps going to their regular pizza spot to step outside the box. Sometimes it’s well worth it. and let me just say it was . We were looking for a last minute pizza option and tried Villa Rosa. It's a small casual place but the staff was very nice. We ordered pizza and eggplant parmigiana and it was amazing! It all tasted very fresh and homemade. We will be back. The only thing I would change? Take away the tv and just play some nice music. Other than that, great!

I have tried pizza all over the country and nothing ever compares to Villa Rosa's traditional thin crust Chicago style. Villa Rosa has been my favorite pizza spot for the last 20yrs and is the only place I order from EVERY single time I am visiting the city.

So we ordered cheese pizza, excellent. The chicken Vesuvio was so good and tortellini with two meatballs was a hit and that sauce ohhhh yesss so good. Will order again and highly recommend.

Very friendly, pleasant staff.Excellent mozz sticks - battered, not breaded, hot and fresh, and served alongside a big cup of a delicious, peppery marinara.One of the better eggplant parm subs I've had - fresh, hot eggplant, fresh bread, they don't go too overboard and drown it in cheese, just enough to pull it all together. I can't say enough good things about the marinara sauce they use.

I've been ordering from Villa Rosa for years and it was always so good and convenient. However, the last 3-4 times I've ordered, I've been disappointed. The minestrone soup used to be great, and several times now -- it's been watery and tasteless. I mentioned something when I called, but not sure what happened there? The last time I ordered the Caprese salad, I got thin tomato slices cut in half which means the whole salad contained like 2 slices. Again, quite different than it used to be. Some other dishes seem to have gone downhill also. Not sure if there's a new cook, or a cutback on ingredients to save $ or just a string of bad luck with orders getting put together too fast, but I'm hesitant to order again now. Otherwise, was a big fan.
Food is very mediocre. Ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce, garlic bread, cheesy garlic bread and pepperoni pizza the spaghetti has minimal flavor and pasta was overcooked. The sauce tasted like canned tomato sauce. The thin crust pizza barely had any sauce and the dough is very bready. The prices are a bit high - I would consider this fast food tier as the flavors were very bland and just tasted poor quality.
