Great neighborhood spot for breakfast. Chilaquiles were very good. The skillet was tasty, served piping hot and was filling. Yolk makes great cheesy grits. Waitress was attentive despite having multiple large tables. We found on-street parking which can sometimes be a challenge.

Britney was super helpful via phone and the food is always awesome thank you for being so kind and helping me make breakfast the best!

Gave this place 3 tries to make my final conclusion. Staff is so friendly and thoughtful, however the quality and prices are HORRIBLE. I’ve tried a different meal every time I went and there was hardly any flavor, potatoes always undercooked(hard as a rock) and let alone 20-25 bucks for some eggs with soggy bread. Sad. I hope they get better.

It's a Yolk they are all loud and this one is no different. Thanks for coffee.

Huge portions and hearty breakfast choices. The omelet I had was delicious! Gets busy over breakfast so expect slower service.

I came here on a Monday morning with friends. Lots of natural sunlight and street parking nearby. The servers were quick and attentive. I thought the food was filling but not too unique.

The service, location and atmosphere here is great. However, what’s lacking is the food. If you’re in a fix and really need breakfast this is it. However not somewhere you want to show off to visitors or friends. The worst was the Nutella crepes. The crepe itself tasted way too eggy and we could only eat the parts that had a lot of Nutella. The home style potatoes were ok (needed seasoning, bless their hot sauce), freshly squeezed orange juice was good. The chilaquiles verdes were also decent.

The food is a little hit or miss. Croque madame is great, the potatoes are wonderful, the crepes were underseasoned, and the grits were watery. great staff, very cute

A window table always helps, but they're a little slow today. The place is about 80% full staffing looks fine however. We had the 3 egg salmon scrambler and one banana blue crunch pancake. The scrambler is enough to feed almost 2 people especially with 2 pancake sides. The omelette was perfectly cooked - wet . The salmon was generous . The cheese in the cheesy grits give it a body and taste missing otherwise. The banana blue crunch pancake tasted "healthy". They did give us the recipe ASAP when we told them we were in a hurry. P.S the French cloth napkins was a nice touch

We stopped here for breakfast and were blown away. Food was great, but the real star was our server August. One of the best servers we've ever had! He was attentive, had a great personality, and he also gave us great tips about finding our way around town. Fantastic!

This place is my go-to for a good hearty breakfast. I always do pickup and the food is typically ready within a reasonable amount of time and service is great. I usually get Countryside Skillet with Chocolate Chip Pancakes and my partner gets the All American with Red Velvet French Toast. Both are insanely delicious. The portions are big and I often have leftovers. Parking is a bit tricky in this area, but we can usually find a spot after driving around for a bit.

The service was fine but the food took longer than expected considering it wasn't busy at all. The food was fine too but wasn't exceptional in my opinion. Our server was t rude but wasn't overly polite either.

Good selection on menu and one of my favorite places for steel cut oatmeal with fruit and add ons. The service is good as well. The one I visit is on Diversey in East Lakeview near Sheridan. I've always had good food and service here. They also took care of my wallet when I left it behind one day.

Fun place to go with visitors. I like the seasonal pancakes and the drink options, but overall the prices are pretty steep for what you're getting. Also - the potatoes are not my favorite! Wish there were more options there. Staff is usually pretty friendly and there is typically a wait.
