Small tasting room attached to a winery. The staff were great and wanted to make sure we had all the information about their wines. Small boutique with wine related signs, shirts, coasters, glasses. When we went there was live music and lots of energy for the solar eclipse. Wines we had were delicious and everyone found something to like. Limited menu available (sandwiches, pasta salad) to go along with the wine tasting.

Gorgeous area and decent wine but food choices were decidedly limited and the grilled chicken sandwich I believe was frozen, precooked , then microwaved and maybe from Costco. Recommend for a glass of wine on the back porch but don't plan a meal there. Side note, not sure if it was incense or cleaning supplies but there was an odor indoors that was really sweet and cloying and headache inducing, I don't think it was what they were trying for

My son was visiting from California and we took him to SV. We had a very good time. This is one of my favorites. The downside was the music was too loud for a small amount of people. We could barely hear each other so we only had one drink.Only posting 4 stars because of that reason.

Stopped in for other than a wine tasting, ended up trying their wine anyway lol. They have a wine slushy that is absolutely delicious and I'm not really a wine guy. Great location on the Southern Illinois wine trail, will be returning.

Sitting outside and listening to the fountain while drinking Super Nova was such a great way to spend an evening. The salad with paprika dressing is sooooo good!

This place was beautiful and the staff was great. The food and wine was excellent. We just had my high school reunion there and the atmosphere was beautiful. We will be back one day.

Star View vineyards is a fine stop on the Illinois wine trail with a wide selection of wines. Maybe it was the time but the line to purchase wine was long. There is a space specifically set aside for tastings that no one was at. When I say no one was there, I mean no employee was there until someone from the line where people were buying wine called someone over to offer some tastings. I felt absolutely rushed, which was disappointing because the nice person who was doing the tastings was really knowledgeable, which was great but not when you're rushing. There was a large gathering in an adjoining room but I didn't know if it was a private party or if I could have joined in. Star View does play host to many events as I saw some signs posted throughout. I'll be definitely going on the website to see what events there are. I recommend Star View.

Star view has always been one of my favorite local wineries. The wine slushees are amazing! They have pulled pork nachos that are awesome as well! They often have live music playing outside. Overall a very laid back beautiful atmosphere.

Nice setting- live music and relaxed atmosphere. Wine slushes are good and it was fun to feed koi fish. Turtles and blue gill are also in the pond. It was a brutal hot day so did not spend much time outside.
