“Was here on opening day in 1986 or 87. Has always had great food , although the staff has ebbed and flowed. It has been through a lot of remodels but the core kitchen/prep has pretty much remainder unchanged in that time. My latest visit was a pickup order through Grubhub. The staff was just as attentive to detail and service as if I was a dine-in. The food was really good as well. Highly recommend.Parking: Loads of parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can come and go, but may need aid with heavy doors.“
“Uncle Linny’s is worth the drive if you’re in the Pontoon Beach/Granite City area. We have driven from Collinsville IL to eat breakfast here. The food is good, the service is good and they are quick to get your food out after it’s ordered. During the Lenten season they have a fish dinner on Fridays that is really good. The restaurant is clean and in good repair. They have a great selection of desert items if you’re a cake/pie fan.“
“Great place to grab a full country breakfast. Waitress was quick and efficient. My coffee mug was refreshed every 5 minutes with minimal interruption to my meal. Ambiance is a country diner. Food is not photo food... it's filling. The kind of place you grab breakfast before dawn because you don't plan on eating again until the sun goes down.“
“Excellent all around. No matter how busy they sit you rather quickly. The waitresses are always friendly and seem genuinely happy to see you.Their breakfast is second to none. It is served within minutes of ordering. Everything is perfectly cooked and generous portions. Trust me, check this place out and see for yourself why I say this is clearly the best family restaurant in the area.“
“We have been there many times, and everything was great. ... I noticed this time that it wasn't quite as clean as in the past. (I know it's a restaurant...but...) My feet stuck to the floor! We sat in a booth, and evidently, something was spilled ... and dried under the table. I had to wash the bottoms of our shoes when we got home. And the silverware was (the butter knife) was pretty gross.I'm hoping that was a fluke because we normally really like this place!“
“I go here every weekend for breakfast with friends before we go to the shop, the food is really good..there aren't many diners left and I really don't like going to fast food places where there all about the money and not the customer. Here as soon as I walk in they already know I am having coffee and bring it straight out to me then I get straight to my order.“

“After dining here three times, its time I passed along a couple of observations. The menu has a good selection of favorites or soon-to-be favorites, the prices are decent and the place has a simple but cozy feel. However, it can get crowded and parking can be a challenge. Still worth the trip.“
