This was the worst Caribbean food I've ever tasted in my life!! I had to throw 2 whole dinners away! I'll have to drive into the city and go to uncle Joe's cuz this place was garbage. I'm so disappointed.

I saw them prices n said ahhhh nawwww that is ridiculous!!! $20-$25 per person for a meal...I try and eat black owned but some of these places are just robbing people!!! Didn't wanna chance spending almost $30 n get home n be disgusted not worth a risk when I live check to check..maybe when I hit the lottery I'll be back lol

Tried the jerk barbecue rib tips. I wasn't terribly fond of them but then I remembered they were JERK so I settled into the flavor. Next visit I tried the beef short ribs and they were very good with the sweet potatoes and the greens both also good. Last visit I tried the oxtails. They were incredible and I look forward to getting them again. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. However, this time the greens were extremely bland, but that won't stop me from going back.

Kind of a hole in the wall but the food is on point. Their jerk Mac n cheese had me in a chokehold. Cabbage & jerk chicken were also good. The red beans and rice had no flavor and I won't order that again.

5 stars and NOT exaggerating!! Food is amazing! My husband and I have been to almost every jerk restaurant in Chicago and no one tops Max Grille. Flavor and portions is more than satisfying. Must try everything! So far we've had stir fry, jerk chicken dinner, oxtail dinner and tonight jerk turkey tips. The sides speak for them selves we don't even have to talk about it. Max grille is #1 and great service. 10/10 every time.

$25.00 & I received an overcooked sliced pepper and a piece of corn with what appeared to be a thigh cut over 2lbs of rice and peas. I did taste what appeared to be a water chestnut but I didn’t see anymore in this heap of rice. This was billed as a stir-fri. The sauce was hot with and flavorless. The food was plentiful but lacking any wow factor minimal seasoning. Definitely did not receive anything similar to any of the pictures from other reviews.

This man sold me food that smelled like it was over a week old and not refrigerated. I thought it was the trash or maybe someone passed gas but it was definitely his food. That’s disgusting and very disappointing.
