Dragon Light has the tastiest Chinese cuisine in the area. The dine-in and carry-out service is consistently good. The atmosphere in the restaurant, while slightly dated, is comfortable and inviting.

I'd absolutely love to give 5☆ but the servers here are so so sad. They act like they're in chains forced to work there. The food is so good but I literally get uncomfortable eating there. They make you want to take it home to eat but we live too far away. They serve you water in tiny plastic cups with dishwasher rings two cubs of ice and get frustrated if you ask for more ice or water. This guy today literally just rolled his eyes at me for asking for a cup of ice because me and my kids combined had 6 cubes. Not just this server both the guys we get here act the same way. They show zero emotion and do not speak out side of what do you need. It's very strange. I hope one day this changes more family friendly.

Yelp brought me here and we were grateful. The portions are huge and the service the best in the area. Knowledgeable waiter that knows authentic Asian cuisine and attends to every detail even the packaging of leftovers with a flair for even folding the take home bag with an Origami flair . The best ambiance of Asian food in the area. So many places are take out only because they don't have waitstaff Only thing that kept one star off was the fact that the butterfly shrimp appetizer had no cocktail sauce because that would not be authentic?! Flavor of everything was great because of all the fresh made to order dishes with fresh ingredients. Price seems high but you get what you pay for! Sorry forgot the pictures. We were hungry!

I ordered Mongolian Chicken. Although I thought it was what I ordered. 2 pieces of chicken, all mushroom and water. Except it does not taste like Mongolian Chicken. It's not spicy and taste watered down. Not sure why they can't follow the ingredients on how to cook the correct dish. Are they such in a rush that they just don't care? All they have to do is YouTube it if uncertain. (which I'm going to have to do now, instead of gambling whether this restaurant is going to make Mongolian Chicken the right way "this time".)I feel robbed from being hustled for $35 and a horrible night. Good food brings delight except not tonight. The food literally taste like water and mushroom. It should be called Tap-Watered Sort-of-but-not-Mongolian-like Mushroom with a splash of chicken and more tap water. Who knows? Maybe tonight was just not my night, but why does it ALWAYS have to be a gamble, if the Mongolian chicken will be made the right way. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE deliver the service as promised. This is what we pay for especially with these high inflated over price dishes. Focus on customer service and prepping the food the right way with "reverance". There has to be a better way in handling orders to where nobody is rushed to make it. Just let people know you are not taking any more orders or pay extra to cooks to work over time. What is wrong with this world today? Nobody seems to care.

The waiter was very proper. The portions and price seem to correlate nicely. Crab cakes actually had crab in them.

Food is amazing, just wish they wouldn't let the older man serve as he seems rude. Told me once I ordered "a lot of food" ?!

Dragon light has been absolutely great in accommodating my group of students in a special education transition program. We visit at least once per year, and the owner and staff are great, and the food is excellent!

We came here by default because China House on Theodore St. has yet to reopen their dining area. (Still great for carry out.)Highly recommend their Variety Platter appetizer as you can eat this as a meal and share another entree option. We took home most of our entrees of Sweet and Sour Chicken and Beef Vegetable because the platter was plentiful!! Delicious!!Soup comes with your meal and was fresh and tasty.Slight issues with waitress understanding but take it easy and it is fine.If you can get there before 4 and order lunch it is much more economical with price for the large portions of food you receive. This is true of most Chinese restaurants. The Crab Rangoons are spectacular!! They use crab instead of the ricotta or cream cheese used by other places. Will return!!
