Pretty disappointing. I ordered a bucket of catfish on Sunday, and the fish is usually seasoned well. This fish was beyond bland and tasted as if they prepared it in the chicken batter or some plain flour. The texture and taste were not what it usually taste like. Beyond bland and hard. and I paid extra for mildsauce and only received two small cups of mildsauce and extra hot sauce which I dont eat. I always come here but I dont know if I will return after my most recent visit. The shrimp I ordered was good and well seasoned but the catfish was terrible !

The chicken was nasty. It didn't have the original Harold's taste. It tasted like someone took it home, used old flour that's been in the refrigerator for a long time and they used seasoning salt and pepper only. I don't know if they ran out of the Harold's ingredients or what. It was gross. The fries were hard and tasted like it's been dipped back in the grease after sitting for a while. My husband and I were very disappointed and just threw the food away. I tried calling but no answer. This was the first and only Harold's I've been to that was not good. I no longer live in Illinois so when I come to visit, Harold's is my go to. To the owner of this location, I don't mean any harm but if the ingredients have literally changed, I will not be back. I'd like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but this was just my experience this particular day. This is my first time at this location and that's why I was really disappointed. To the Harold lovers, I would say don't look at this review as a negative because I don't know what happened that day. Please judge for yourselves. I don't have a Harold's where I live but Harold's will always be my number one chicken place.Parking: The parking is shared with other businesses because it's in a small strip mall.

Where to begin…I doubt there will be a response to this review, however I’m going to write it to help everyone else out!! We called for a pick up order, we ordered a bucket, a pint of coleslaw, 20 nuggets, 3 small fries & two bottles of coke. Also, a can of Hawaiian Punch. So we actually got put on hold after we gave the girl our entire order. We heard her taking peoples orders who were walking in, while come to find out not even entering ours. So we actually drove there and walked in before she even bothered finishing our phone call. We waited 40 minutes and shortly realized we shortly realized we in fact, did not receive the bucket we requested, but 12 small chicken wings, which by the way these days are $17.. I had just pointed out before we walked off to the car with our order, she was putting one bottle, and two cans in the bag. The Coca Cola being one of the cans. I just said “hey I paid for two bottles , one coke on sprite.” She says, “Hawaiian punch doesn’t come in a bottle.” I’m guessing it was the manager who walked out,

I placed an order online order, which was located 6 miles away. Bypassing a Harold's location only 1 mile away. I was told this location in Crestwood was good. I ordered a bucket, 24 wings. Got a text saying it was ready. Get there it's was not ready. A bag has to be requested. Then drive back 6 miles and guess what..the main ingredient that they charged an extra $2.09 for sauce on side was not in the bag. So no sauce, no extra sauce, just two small cups of ketchup for the fries. I called and was told I could come back to get the sauce. Well that would mean cold chicken. I would have thought if you can't refund my money the way it was accepted, then you should have taken my information and said next time you come in we will throw an extra wing or Something! Wing without sauce..Come on Man!

I ordered through Uber Eats. Once I received my food of course it wasn't right. I called Harolds to let them know what had happened and the young girl on the phone hung up in my face. Very rude and unprofessional. Never will I order from here again.

The service is ghetto, the wait time is never accurate, prices are way to high, and food doesn’t taste fresh ever the grease is not changed frequently and you can taste it in the food.
